- Rated 3 out of 5by Lars Ahlstrom, 6 years agoAs a newbie, I stay neutral for 2 weeks. If I see that this boat float, and above that, even gets my browsing snappier, I will return raising my admirement, and pay you the fee u then deserve. Personally I really prefer software that specializes on one environment only. Otherwise, software made for "ALL" end up being all for Linux, MacCrap or other browsers. I for example threw out Chrome the other day as I experienced a password security unavoidable LOOP. And I feel much better as a human being w/o Chrome. And Win10 "Edge" is just a laugh. It starts up with a blue screen with a cogwheel, and there it stays.... Why? VPN allergy, I guess. And so it too found a secure place in my "password hysteria dump." Being with this personal computer revolution, since 1980, I just wonder why this extreme security mentality tend to kill off the happiness of computing. Microsoft Hotmail f-ex - dont miss remembering your "letter, capital, number, special char" passwords. Your life will be more unsecure and shorter... :D Just use your childhood friends telephone numbers. Things u never stop remembering. Sorry for going way offtopic... I'll return, Honestly and humble! ;)

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 11913688, 7 years agoI understand that software developers want to name their software something generic for marketing reasons (e.g., a word processor named "word"), but this one is unnecessarily confusing. Are they trying to play off the popularity of AdBlock Plus?
As soon as AdBlock Plus works again with Firefox Nightly, I'm switching back. Not as much because this generic AdBlock is a bad program (it seems okay) but because I don't like that they seem to be relying on confusion to market their program. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12896575, 7 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 9859644, 7 years agoI like this add-on even though when Mozilla first load up, some ads sneak in but after Mozilla is fully loaded the ads disappear. An update must've happened within 24 hours because when I went to Youtube to play some videos today I keep getting an 'error has occurred. please try back later.' and it gives an ID code. I go to restart Mozilla in safe mode and the Youtube videos play so I learn it's an add-on screwing up what once was working and find out it's this add-on. So now if I want to watch a Youtube video I would have to disable this add-on to do so. I'm tired of having to go through this with Mozilla. Either an update screws up my settings or an updated add-on screws up my settings. When will the developers learn that if it 'ain't' broke then stop trying to 'fix' it!!

posted 7 years agoA couple of broken filters in EasyList recently caused YouTube videos not to load. Instead, videos displayed the error you saw. This affected every ad blocker that uses EasyList (which is most of them, actually).
The folks at EasyList were made aware of the issue and released an update pretty quickly. You should have received the update automatically within a day or two. Please make sure your filter lists are current. If they aren't, manually update your filter lists and restart your browser to apply the corrections.
To manually update your filter lists:
Click the AdBlock button on the browser toolbar and select Options.
On the FILTER LISTS tab, click update now.
Restart your browser.
Please let us know if this doesn't work for you!
