- Rated 3 out of 5by s20, 4 years agoIt's fine, it does it's job unobtrusively, and has a nice, clean interface that's easy to use. uBlock is still better, though, so I'm going back to that.
- Rated 3 out of 5by W4T3R, 4 years agonice app, was going to give it a 5* until it flashed a "congratulations, you have blocked 1000 ads!........care to write a review?" then gave me a little fancy badge for it an will get another at 5000!
nice program AdAvoid, bad gimmick for trying to get a review, well it worked for i am writing one...but maybe a different approach to it. well, at least i have something to hang on my refrigerator door, right? - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15865327, 4 years agoCelebrates blocked ads with... a pop-up ad. Two stars lost for stupidity.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14501436, 4 years agowhy github version is not latest?
Is this add-on really open source?
Or the github source code just a guise. - Rated 3 out of 5by No, 4 years agoWorks well, but now it's allowing popups about turning it off, defeating the purpose. Very annoying. Will look for a better option.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15600616, 4 years agoGreat for ad-blocking with the exception of its own large intrusive pop-ups.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Michael Maxwell, 5 years agoIt blocks ads just fine, but it also makes Outlook webmail display a blank page when I try to create or reply to an email. (This is the webmail interface to our company's installation of Outlook--no idea whether this also affects Outlook365.)
The problem (with some ad-ons, not this one explicitly) is described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems. I disabled and re-enabled AdAvoid several times to verify that it was indeed this add-on, and not another one, nor was it hardware acceleration.
