I have been using this extension for a number of years now and it always performs. Slight hiccup the other day contacted the developer and he solved the problem very quickly. It was a update with the Youtube app causing the problem not the download extension. Very impressed with the service of developer.

I rely on Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express to extract mp3 from videos everyday. I have found it very reliable and convenient, having a one-click Download button underneath the video. It can take up to 30 seconds to extract the mp3, but so far it has proved to be the most stable and reliable application that I have used for this task.

Recently, (April 2023), the Download button disappeared, due to Youtube altering their code again, apparently to prevent easy downloading of videos.

If this happens to you, don't despair! I emailed Dishita and got a reply in about 2 hrs, which was a pleasant surprise, as I didn't expect such a prompt response! I was offered the new version 18.4 to test, and it has solved the Download Button problem.

You have to have the 'PRO' Key activation for downloading mp3 and 1080p, though, but that's not really a problem as it's only a one-off donation.

Very useful program. Works really well. I had initially a problem to register because I did not see there were a few dots at the end of my email address. I wrote to the help desk and the issue was solved in less than 24h.

Bug free software, as far as I have experienced, and developer stays ontop of the updates. Donate a few dollars to him or at least buy him a cup of coffee for all the work that he has put in on this program. VERY FAST DOWNLOADER.

works great for 720p

Editing my review after a fix that allows downloading 720p videos again without a subscription. It was broken for a bit but it's fixed now. Considering one person manages this whole add-on, I'm glad it was fixed and so quickly!
