using for Germans is a little bit difficult but works great! - Rated 5 out of 5by Bipbop, 3 years agoGreat idea to allow you to filter out 'fluff' posts by facebook, to fill up your newsfeed with 'new' information to keep you "engaged and on facebook". I am still testing this out, but wanted to give a thumbs up to the developer for the idea!

FB is constantly changing its code to make sure that ads get through blockers and add-ons like Social Fixer that can hide them. I've been using SFx for several years now, and I can tell you that it absolutely does work IF you read the notes and IF you are willing to learn a little about how it works and IF you accept the limitations FB forces on it.
A recent 1 star review said that Sponsored posts started showing up again. I haven't seen a Sponsored post in 3 or 4 years )or more) except for the few days between when FB breaks their code and Matt fixes it.
I would have to stop using FB completely if SFx stopped working as I have become addicted to my clean feed with zero ads, zero sponsored posts, zero game recommendations, zero stories that were added to, always having most recent posts, and much more. SFx allows me to control what I see on FB. Don't bash it just because you don't understand it.
