Reviews for SponsorBlock - Skip Sponsorships on YouTube – Add-ons for Firefox Android (en-GB)

Either I'm stupid or is missing the point. Or both. Same every 1 min youtube commercials destroying any type of previous youtube experience. I thought this add-on would remove just that??

You are missing the point. SponsorBlock is not a traditional ad blocker but for skipping times inside of YouTube videos when the creator themselves promotes a product. It does not skip ads by YouTube. It is meant to be used alongside uBlock Origin

the extension works well but rarely instead of skipping it goes to the start of the video. i like to use it to watch youtube in pop out when im playing games and not having to skip stuff manually. only "Auto Skip" can be used when im playing games and sometimes "Filler" runs on too long but i dont want to skip it. i think something like "Auto 1.5x/2x Speed" would be nice

do NOT use youtube without SponsorBlock. Despite the name it does NOT block: it hides. It's akin to CSS "blocking" which also only hides. It hides by skipping. The sister extension solves clickbait. Continue to win the war on ads Privacy HarM with privoxy for firefox.

The SponsorBlock defaults are unacceptable. Enable EVERYTHING to skip. Disable self promotion. Win.

I just wanted to apologize to the poor devs of this extension who have had to deal with the smooth-brained people who don't read the description and who clog up the 1-star reviews with "ThIs adBloCkEr DoeSn'T WOrK". I appreciate the wonderful work that you do <3
