7/2023: It worked for a while, but now it is broken again. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17063617, 3 years agoBasically is worthless when you need it and Capital One doesn't seem to want to fix it. It'll pop up and connect immediately on pages you don't need it but on pages where you need it to operate it'll freeze up trying to connect. Even worse, if you try to disconnect the session it'll still keep trying to connect in the background until you close out firefox in the task manager. So not really worth using until they pull their heads out of the "exit hole" and fix it unless you got a lot of ram to waste as it'll keep eating up resources and not work when needed.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14506098, 3 years agoOften hangs and is unable to proceed without going back into the shopping cart. I lost an order I had alerts setup for when it got in stock. Because of the app issue it went out of stock before I could fix the issues and get the virtual number. Please make this app more robust. I pay yearly for the card but this app is not there when I need it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Goofy173, 3 years agoDid not work at all. added to mozilla firefox. Said to click to set up. I clicked. Wait. Wait. Wait. Shows Capital One/Eno small browser frame on screen saying Continuing. Come back hour later. Still says that on the screen. Deleted and reported to Capital One that is does not work.

Um, an old problem is back, guys. It gets into a Sign In through Browser --> Login popup --> Sign In through Browser.
Based on other reviews, it has been broken on Firefox for three days. The devs released a broken product and they're not fixing it.
Would give it a negative star rating, because I've given better products 1 star. - Rated 1 out of 5by feelfreetoblameme, 3 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by JoshuaTP, 3 years agoDoes not working only shows this forever.
Securely signing you in with express checkout... - Rated 1 out of 5by Inirit, 3 years agoThis addon slows my browser to a crawl on various different websites. It's not worth using until fixed.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Jessecar, 3 years agoLike everyone else said, this addon makes youtube and some other websites VERY slow. I don't know what it's doing in the background but it's not good.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12594607, 3 years agoThe Eno service by itself is fine, and this add-on works. However, this add-on seems to slow down the browser a lot. Especially YouTube.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14785703, 3 years agoThis app works but make sure you disable it while using Youtube due to it making that site quite sluggish. I finally narrowed down the app causing it, it is definitely Eno.
- Rated 1 out of 5by lumin8, 3 years agoUnlike many of the other 1 star reviews here, I'm not having an issue with whether or not the app actually works. It works perfectly fine. The problem is this app causes considerable lag on nearly all websites. I have a high-end PC, and this behavior is observed ONLY when the extension is turned on.
Turning the extension off immediately speeds up any website that uses heavy HTML/JS. I'm assuming the extension scrapes nearly every part of the website to look for a "credit card" field to suggest opening a credit card, but this is heavily taxing on the general speed of the browser. - Rated 1 out of 5by Zeviticus, 3 years agoDoesn't work. Likely, my credit card information is already stolen. STAY AWAY!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16900483, 3 years agoDoesn't work! After setting this up, have purchased from Walmart on line twice and Target once. Had to use a different card.

- Rated 1 out of 5by wdspider, 3 years agoI have the same problem as ff_kwr where Eno keeps asking to sign in over and over and over. If I had to guess, it's because the CapOne site always loads into my Bank container while Eno is not part of that container. It's a pity that it doesn't work for multi account containers as I would really like to use this.
- Rated 1 out of 5by ff_kwr, 3 years agoGood concept but very poorly implemented and ultimately not usable. You can only use the add-on the very first time you install it. So I have to basically clear the browser cache and reinstall the whole thing again to manage the numbers. It just keeps saying "sign in with your browser" but after a million times of signing into the new window, it won't actually sign in. I have 2FA enabled.
To add insult to injury, these people did not build a way to simply manage your virtual cards in the capital one website interface. That's a level of hubris I have not seen from any developer worth their salt - to not create a fallback option in the web interface. Why not just let people create/manage virtual catds on CapOne online interface in case your plugin doesn't work (which based on the reviews, is clearly the case).Developer response
posted 3 years agoHi! Thanks for the review. We'd really like to chat more about this to see if we can drill down the exact issues you're having with the extension. If you can, please send us a DM on Twitter(@AskCapitalOne), or a private message on our official Facebook page. Thanks again! - Rated 1 out of 5by Flat, 3 years agoGreat feature but the extension is poorly written. It will use a considerable amount of thread time in firefox causing the entire browser to lag.

Thanks again. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14051185, 3 years agoIt doesn't like my phone number, the phone number I used an entire hour ago to verify my brand new capital one account.
Support couldn't help, their suggestion boiled down to "try again later".
I really wish I could just use a website instead of a shitty broken addon.
EDIT:
I am not on those platforms.
I was on the phone with your website support yesterday, if you think you can do better than your existing website support, please provide a reasonable support channel like an email address.Developer response

Would you be able to send us a DM to @AskCapitalOne on Twitter, or send us a private message on our official Facebook page? - Rated 1 out of 5by DFW, 3 years agoI have to restart via the website EVERY time I try to use this extension!! Anyone have a method to keep this from happening??
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16769282, 3 years agoDoes not work! Only says "Checking Session" indefinitely. Before the last update I had to re-register my card every time I wanted to use it. A real pain in the _ss to use.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Matthew L Daniel, 3 years agoas an update to my review, my experience has now crossed over into pure hatred for this piece of junk, and my opinion of Capital One has gone down because of it. How hard can it possibly be to just allow a not stupid login system like browsers have had for generations
---
It's a great security feature, but is a little hit-or-miss whether it logs in or not, and it makes me sad I can't just use it in my Banking container to generate numbers, since that defeats the purpose of having containers in FirefoxDeveloper response
