- Rated 4 out of 5by Pykoz, 2 years agoThe add-on does what it says on the box, it does literal translations, HOWEVER, for some reason it "translates" dates to frankendates. 05.10.22 will suddenly become 10/31/22 !!!! (My suggestion is to leave numbers alone) Many languages have more than one word for an object or action, I find this likes to use the wrong one. I also find that translating from languages like Russian, where there is no is, are, the , a , it will insert the wrong one often - this is where google translate beats it out, otherwise, this is great.
- Rated 4 out of 5by pp, 2 years agoplease add the option to translate pages from detected language to any other language that you wanna select.
EDIT: Okay. But now it cannot load the translation engine :(Developer response
posted 2 years agoHello pp, on version 1.2.0 which should be released tomorrow, you will be able to choose both the source as the destination languages. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14675736, 2 years agoНу типо пойдет как временное расширение, но качество перевода оставляет желать лучшего.
Также нет функции выбора переводчика, поэтому ставлю 4/5 - Rated 4 out of 5by Christian, 2 years agoI'm absolutely satisfied with the add-on but I think it's a bit annoying with the popups on the sides who want you to persuade to translate these site.
- Rated 4 out of 5by 浪迹天涯小叮当, 2 years agoHappy to find that translation addons is available in Firefox, but I hope translating the website into Chinese will be available soon, cause I really need it. :(

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16446881, 2 years agoI think this feature should be included in the browser native features, it's too late, the TWP experience is much better than this extension.
- Rated 4 out of 5by piecevcake, 2 years agoWorks on Twitter pages, translates inside boxes (Google translate does neither; TWP does both, with better Russian translations, recognises @names, but not private.)
-The exit button disappears on the toolbar strip.
-HOW TO STOP IT TRANSLATING ENGLISH text ("following" changed to "the following"!)? Where is the button in the settings to ADD languages and web sites to the exclusions? - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13470358, 3 years agoBastante bueno, una de las cosas que echaba en falta de otros navegadores chromium era su facilidad para traducir páginas sobre la marcha. Con esta extensión eso queda solucionado. Aunque servicio de traducción no es el mejor, es lo que hay y funciona la mayoría de veces.

- Rated 4 out of 5by nakedhitman, 3 years agoA simple, useful addition would be if there was a place to enter arbitrary text that's not part of a web page for translation. Keep up the good work!

- Rated 4 out of 5by MarkTwang, 3 years agoNeeds more languages. I use Russian, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese. Works pretty smooth though.
- Rated 4 out of 5by RejZoR, 3 years agoI love the idea of local machine learning translation instead of everything going through creepy Google. Been using it for a while now and it's actually working really well. However, I wish it would have an auto-detection of language on the page and ability to select your preferred language that you want to translate into and just have it automatically translate everything automatically. I'd also like to have website translation to be automatic as I browse without having to always manually click button to automatically translate things as I browse. Having said that, if these controls can be adjusted in extension settings, there is no need to have the toolbar always visible. One could have it enabled if desired, but we already have quick access button for extension itself in the URL bar if you need to change that. If this stuff can be addressed I'm giving it 5 stars easily. Thanks Mozilla, really cool extension.
- Rated 4 out of 5by cryptosteve, 3 years agoI really like this extension and it works well for me in most cases (I used it for translations from english -> german and spanish -> german).
But why do we have this annoying extension bar if we already have a nice and fancy icon in the url bar?
But keep it up, I like it very much so far. - Rated 4 out of 5by (v) Vadym, 3 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17505035, 3 years agoThe only issue that target language cannot be selected.
My interface is in English and I want to translate into Ukraine, but that's not possible. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17505005, 3 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16009612, 3 years agoPlease add Translate to Firefox natively without the need for an extension.
