by TELLALL4ALL, 2 years ago2-5-25 same. cannot do partial pages unless in FFox. Slow can't handle large pages and freezes your machine w/out warning or requires you to split the page into segments. slow to load slow to perform
8-31-24: Slow as hell. Only works well with firefox. they must be using Commodore servers with wet string tin can connection to the net.
7-29-24: selecting portion to be copied only works on ffox. won't work on brave. better than awesome screen shot for this purpose WIth awsome it's a unreliable two step process to get a portion of the page to save.
1-17-24: Last time I tried Fireshot screen capture, I noticed some definite improvements: a WARNING when capture webpage is too long and splits the image into pieces for faster save and download. Hope this wasn't a temporary fix because it is a big improvement. Also seems to more reliably give u the option of your partial selection of the page instead of automatically trying to save the entire page. Good going.
10-20-23: ico doesn't appear sometimes so you cannot select image you want to capture, u have to take the defaul full page which implements w/out your input. Freezes computer on large pages requiring hard reboot. Slow. Awesome capture is better program.
9-11-23: kinda buggy. Sometimes freezes computer in windows 8.1 as it cannot handle the cpu/memory load on larger captures. This frequently means a hard reboot: NOT GOOD. Flaky method of selecting portions of the page that often does not work To SLOW to go to save image. Cannot set the path and directory to save captures without having to add the FIRESHOT directory and BS to every file. Other than that it's too damn slow.
7-28-23: Puts big white lines interspersed in the capture image. Often slow and flaky especially with tor. Had to install Awesome screen capture which is working much better. This one works about 50% of the time and is slow and not reliable in it's response to user input. It's ok, just needs to be polished more.
so far works pretty well. PDF is slow. Have only used it recently so the warts may show up later. but so far so good.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18653884, 12 days agoWhat a great extension! I use Fireshot almost daily and am grateful for its ability to capture really long passages of text.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Tobias, 12 days agoWhen my PC crashed, I had to reinstall Windows and my key was lost.
When I wrote to support, I received a 30 day code!
Even after several emails, there was no response.
CAUTION ! - Rated 5 out of 5by kRel, 14 days agoMi piace, è utile, funziona bene. Peraltro la versione gratuita offre molto. Spero che non venga utilizzata per scopi illegali

- Rated 5 out of 5by Frank, 18 days agoFireshot isn't perfect, but it's darn close. I'm saving a bunch of websites to PDFs and haven't found anything else that works as well or as easily. I had to install a (free) add on program to get it working well for the URLs I needed to save. The extension will tell you if and when you need the add-on and handle almost everything to make it happen.
One teeny-tiny glitch: there's an option to automatically save the result to PDF. The resultant PDF started fine but turned into a "redacted" version about halfway through. So I use a two step process: Step 1: Process and save. Step 2: Convert to PDF.
There's also some glitchiness in susbox's add-on description. There's some html in it that Firefox didn't process properly and left as html. (That won't make sense to most of you, but the net is that you should just ignore parts of the description that look strange.)
I'm a (now retired) professional programmer. This application is really spiffy and I'm impressed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17842795, 20 days agoQuite the nifty and easy to use screenshot extension. No fuss and no fluff.
