- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13463570, 7 years agoThis entire situation is a nightmare. All I want is my original Speed dial and tabs back the way it used to be. I had 460+ sites marked and it worked great. Now it doesn't work at all. I'm a user, not a programmer. I want my old speed dial back...PLEASE!!!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Nacy, 7 years agoIt allows me to sync my bookmarks between browsers and to sync my FVD SpeedDials. This is so super fantastic!

- Rated 1 out of 5by boxfreind, 7 years agoIdea is great, execution is terrible. When attempting to sync across FF and Chrome (the ONLY reason I installed this), it locks up both in Firefox and Chrome. It also screws up the bookmarks when uploading/downloading and puts them into the different browsers in different locations/orders, it gets confused by bookmarks in folders, and to sync more than a thousand bookmarks, they want $30! Dishonest and terrible, I could not get them to give me a refund when it did not work.
Additional: "back up your favorites" ummm Firefox DOES THIS. By itself. Without any extensions. You just have to log into a FF account. - Rated 5 out of 5by zsyzsykk, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by J D Thomas, 7 years agoComplete piece of garbage; on two separate Macs. Cannot login; error every time. I reset my password and was able to get in only once on each Mac. After that, login error every time.
When I did manage to get in once, all syncing generated errors and nothing worked.
A complete and utter POS.
After this horrible experience, I purged everything regarding Firefox from both Macs. Never more. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12728474, 7 years agoUnable to login in, not syncing. Piece of crap.
- Rated 2 out of 5by revija, 7 years ago1. "Auto update every 30 mins" never worked.
2. Account keeps me signed in, but sync tabs constantly loses connection - every time there are blinking red lines "Before start syncing...." as if I do it for the first time.
Pretty annoying, because 'sync' is main function of FVD-EverSync pair and the reason to have it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Олександр, 7 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13454687, 7 years agoRecent convert from Xmarks. ES seemed to work well until recent update. Have these issues now:
- Extension update disabled bookmark auto-sync ; had to re-enable after realizing the change
- "Manual Sync" options don't actually have a manual *sync* button ; is a true manual sync reserved for paying customers? Can only *merge* local/server data (which doesn't *sync*), or up/download data which are 1-way overwrites
UPDATE:
- Just found that when Eversync options page is open (not taking any action), Firefox CPU goes to ~13% until options page is closed. Wow.
- No prompt to verify manual download ; only to upload
- "Enable auto sync" option keeps becoming disabled
Time to look for yet another cross-browser bookmark sync tool...
UPDATE 2:

- Rated 5 out of 5by noconflicts, 7 years agoI had originally said "I cannot add this to Firefox ESR 52.4.1 (32-bit). I get the error 'this add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt.'" I was able to find a solution at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=14774300#p14774300: "
You will need to temporarily remove the config-prefs.js or autoconfig.js files to be able to install some add-ons (remove them with FX closed). Once the add-on is installed, put the file back to continue using the add-ons." I hope this helps someone.
Update: I've now used this for a few weeks, and so far, no complaints. After the initial installation issue, it was easy to use. I'll give it another month, and then will definitely make a contribution to support its further development. I should note that I had no problems installing it in Firefox ESR 52.4.1 (32-bit) on my workstation in my office.
