I've been using this add-in in conjunction with a script that scrapes and reloads hundreds of web pages every few minutes. I've been having memory issues with Firefox lately, so I started disabling add-ins one at a time after running it for about a week.
The moment I disabled this add-in, the process memory decreased by 18 GiB. The decrease all came from the "heap-unclassified" section of the add-ins process. This suggests that this extension (over the course of potentially millions of page loads) has somehow been allocating memory to the heap but not freeing it.
I currently have a single rule set up to modify a CORS header. Let me know if I can gather any additional information to help confirm and/or debug this issue.Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14072894, 6 years agoIt could kill HTTP Header Mangler, Redirector, url-redirector, Skip Redirect and NeatURL, but hopefully it'll have a user-friendly way to achieve what now 'custom function' feature could do; Material Design; And the authors seem to be steadfast GPL supporters.
BTW, can it delete a header?Developer response
posted 5 years agoYes, Just set it to "_header_editor_remove_"
(BTW, in fact, I aslo like Apache License, depends on which project I am developing) - Rated 5 out of 5by Dave, 6 years agoVery well designed.
Providing a dropdown list of all available headers would be even better. - Rated 5 out of 5by Le, 6 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 11440590, 6 years agola extension parece muy interesante y he intentado aprender como se utiliza con diferentes tutoriales pero he llegado a la conclusion de que no me entero de nada, por lo tanto me veo obligado a preguntar si hay alguna manera de que varias direciones se puedan resolver con una unica regla en lugar de una por pagina, por ejemplo:
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8536ef8bc73/paginated" y
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8709870561b/paginated"
que se convertan en
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8536ef8bc73/cascade" y
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8709870561b/cascade"
respectivamente, vamos en definitiva que se convierta de paginated a cascade".
Estaria muy agradecido si alguien pudiese responderme.
Gracias por adelantado.

The extension seems very interesting and I have tried to learn how it is used with different tutorials but I have come to the conclusion that I do not know anything, therefore I am forced to ask if there is any way that several addresses can be solved with a only rule instead of one per page, for example:
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8536ef8bc73/paginated" and
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8709870561b/paginated" which become
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8536ef8bc73/cascade" and
"https://tumangaonline.me/viewer/5b8987070561b/cascade"
respectively, let's definitively turn from paginated to cascade. "
I would be very grateful if someone could answer me.
Thanks in advance.Developer response
posted 6 years agoYou can use rexexp, some examples: https://github.com/FirefoxBar/HeaderEditor/wiki/Third-party-rules , documentions: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/RegExp - Rated 5 out of 5by smishe, 6 years ago一个小bug?52.9.0 (32 位) esr,右键菜单没有反防盗链。
当然手动写Referer规则还是没问题的,所以扩展本身是正常的。 - Rated 5 out of 5by Leon Xu, 6 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13838176, 6 years agoI really like the extension and the "grouping" capabilities. However, I don't think the grouping capability is working really well for me. I will set up groups and then the groups will suddenly all disappear at some point, all the rules will still be there but the groups just disappear and all the rules will fall under "Ungrouped". Am I missing an important step?
It would be nice to be able to be able to sort the rules through drag and drop or arrow keys.
Using Firefox Developer Edition v59

I realized how to replicate the issue. After you have setup the groups, when you "Clear All History" of Firefox (I select only Cache, Cookies), the grouping gets reset.

posted 6 years agoCan you submit an issue on github with detailed operations and console screenshots, to help me troubleshoot the problem ? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13832669, 6 years agoAmazing! With this extension (and javascript knowledge) you can do impossible things like:
- prevent anti-hotlinking scripts from blocking or adding stuff to images on certain websites (matched by regular expressions!)
- force a sessions to not expire when you restart a browser
and much more useful stuff! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13802516, 6 years ago
