About this extension
UPDATE 28 April 2023: After communicating with the original developer (Foosoft), I will be reformatting this app. This mostly entails rebranding it—we have decided to go with KiYomi, short for Kitsune Yomi. This update will be pushed through this listing when it is complete. For progress updates, please check the github listing (https://github.com/ImplyingICheck/KiYomi).

This version matches the Chrome release version. It is the latest release prior to the archival of the original project.

An updated version of the Yomichan extension by FooSoft (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yomichan/). Repackaged and distributed under the GNU GPL license of the original Yomichan.

Yomichan turns your browser into a tool for building Japanese language literacy by helping you to decipher texts which would be otherwise too difficult tackle. This extension was inspired in part by Rikaichan and Rikaikun, but it stands apart in its goal of being a all-encompassing learning tool as opposed to a mere browser-based dictionary, while adding advanced features such as EPWING support.
