by Firefox user 13938508, 7 years agoIf you're looking for an addon that allows you to control which website gets dark shaded, this one will do it for you. But it is better than other dark themed addon because you can customize a lot of options, including changing how it colored the text and links to your liking.
Most powerful, you can exclude websites from this addon, so sites with built-in dark themes won't be affected by this addon. The addon's dark mode not only changes the webpage, but also the interface to match. Don't let the fact it has few reviews scare you, it's really the best dark addon I have found so far.

I need to turn off the add-on, reload the page and turn on the add-on again to see the page. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18611515, a month ago

Just wish clicking icon on panel could switch on/off. - Rated 3 out of 5by MattToronto, 7 months agoGets the job done, but the omission of a simple per-site toggle is baffling.

- Rated 3 out of 5by sadamitsuTD, 9 months agoin desperate need of updates, totally broken when used with youtube. Still, one of the few add-ons for firefox that can customize text and link colors for individual websites without .css.

- Rated 4 out of 5by enjoyer, 10 months agoSome sites (like claude.ai) freeze because of this addon. This is fixable by using simple mode. Dark Reader's UI and functionality is better, except for performance.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Owlkhemy, 10 months agoIt's a great plugin and I love the customizability, but I find that it makes my page refresh by itself which is a bit annoying because I'm a notorious reader of long webpages and it resets my progress. Other than that, it's perfect and I highly recommend it!
