- Rated 5 out of 5by chuma, 3 years agoSo great for keeping multiple accounts with the same service separate, without having to open a different web browser.
Also good for web developers who have to use the same app in different environments and not have cookies from env A get in the way of env B 👍 - Rated 4 out of 5by niko, 3 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by MiikaM, 3 years agoAwesome container extension! This let's me use firefox on every computer with as many accounts as I want.
+ Can separate different accounts to work on
+ Containers are themselves easy to manage
+ Can set default sites to be opened as specific containers (etc. a work intra)
+ Has keyboard shortcuts
And Couple improvement actions I would like to see with the container extension
- Configurable keyboard shortcuts. At least for now (that I'm aware of) you can't customize the keyboard shortcuts. => When having almost 10 containers it comes a bit of a nuissance to press Ctrl+Shift+9.
- A shortcut to open the existing tab with a specific container. Now you can do this by Ctrl + . and then choosing. But it would be great if you could do this faster. - Rated 5 out of 5by Nightly user, 3 years agoAwesome addon, adds a ton of functionality to Firefox, however I wish there was an option to have all tabs in a given window to automatically open to a set container.
In addition, I would love if there were options to have custom colors and custom icons for created containers. - Rated 5 out of 5by Thomas, 3 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14231476, 3 years agoVery good addon, kinda missing an option for reopening the same tab in a different container, without creating new tabs.
Could also use a slightly better ux, I keep using the icon to "always open this site in" instead of "reopen in container" which is hidden a bit deeper. So basically... reopening the site in container is a bit of a hassle. - Rated 5 out of 5by ESDev, 3 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by bodwyn, 3 years agoAfter yesterday spending ages deleting TMP containers, today I synced a new install of Firefox on a different, new PC. All TMP containers were recreated. Terrible.
Downgraded from 4 to 1 stars.
A week later I have just deleted all the TMP containers 'synced' to my new machine.
Switched off sync in add-on settings. Closed and reopened Ffox, switched on sync in add-on settings and it put all the TMP containers back in.
Oh and it's now synced a website back into a container I had removed it from on both machines.
Clicking "Remember this decision for this site" or manually changing the site list for a container are ignored or overwritten. It keeps asking though as-if there is any function in any of the controls.
WHYYYYY? What is the intended purpose of any of these functions if all it does is sync back over the top undoing everything I do to try to clean up the mess it keeps replicating?
A community of conscientious supporters' time and energy would be better spent on how it /should/ work, why it is important in theory, and improvements - instead of barely getting it to function as intended and repeatedly cleaning up the mess it spreads everywhere.
A mess admittedly created by Temporary Containers but I haven't had that installed for several years but still have several hundreds of TMP containers to delete. Again.
Good theory.
There is a way to remove the hundreds of synced TMP containers created by Temporary Containers extension, but sync just undoes everything you do, so good luck.
Also ! Watch-out! The page jumps around so if you are trying to use it for what it's for: bulk removal, it's easy to delete ones you wanted to keep.

- Rated 3 out of 5by PRAGATA.ID, 3 years agoif the number of containers is very large, it will be very difficult to organize, there is no option to add folders or sort names. and if this feature request has been added, I will add a rating for this amazing addon 😊 thanks.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Froster, 3 years agoThe ideia is great, and having a trusted developer (Mozilla) behind is makes everything better. However, it could use some usability improvements when it comes to managing containers/websites, dealing with redirects and opening new links.

One thing I'd like to have (feature request) is to be able to open separate windows, in which new tabs are opened in the chosen container by default. - Rated 5 out of 5by sup123, 3 years ago

Currently:
It has a problem where it opens double tabs. I have tried every single setting and this still happens at times. it's as if it loads all of the tabs twice, and then sometimes it seems to load them multiple times. have still not figured out how or why it does it. This is currently the worst problem.
Order of the tabs. you can move the tabs around but then when you go to open a tab in a new window you get some random order of your tabs, this seems like a very easy fix.
It would be great to have a way where you could save out the URLs. This would be such a plus as any problems with Firefox, (for example thousands of tabs opening every time you open a certain container) and you might need to refresh or enter safe mode all of your containers are erased. this can be frustratingly sad.
Otherwise this is one of the most powerful functionalities of Firefox
