I use an HTML file on my PC with all my bookmarks as my homepage. MyHomepage used to work perfectly, then Firefox got updated and now it no longer works. It is not a very big deal, I open a new tab, which is blanc, click on the Home button and voila. However, I really (!) would appreciate it when a homepage add-on would allow me to automatically load my HTML file. I appreciate the good work though, keep it up. Firefox is really worth it.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14320088, 6 years agoWill not allow loading local files on Ubuntu / Linux.
No, "Mozilla doesn't allow this functionality" is not an answer. I have this extension, with the same local file, working perfectly fine on Windows 8.1 but it refuses to load on Ubuntu. The only use I have for this extension does not work so it is immediately uninstalled. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14310683, 6 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by lnstar, 6 years agoDoes nothing. A blank page appears, which can also be selected in the Quantum "options".

Then I found this pref in about:config
browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent
The default is false! Make it true, and no addon needed! - Rated 1 out of 5by Jgreg7, 6 years agoI recently returned to Firefox after a several year break, due to problems with other browsers.
This add-on is a nice idea, however it does not seem work on Firefox 60.0.2 using my home page. I might try it again in the future if it is fixed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14081511, 6 years agoYESS F Mozilla for taking away our choice in how we want our new tabs to look. I've been a loyal user of I.E for years and only recently set firefox as my default. Mozilla, don't make me change back. I'm a very vengeful IT guy!!!

• Windows 10 Pro x64, ver. 1803
• Firefox 60.0.1 (64-bit) - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14068651, 6 years agoDoes not work with Firefox 60.0.1 on Ubuntu using a local HTML file as home page.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12288856, 6 years agoDoes not work with 59.0.3 -- my homepage is a local HTM file (with all my useful links), and when I add a new tab this add-on simply creates a blank page.
