- Rated 1 out of 5by carlos, 4 months agoI think there is a flaw in the extension that's why I rate it with one star.
I use a computer with 16Gb ram. Without the extension it is rare that just browsing I reach 20% ram and a few minutes of use I have reached up to 97% ram usage using this extension. outrageous! - Rated 1 out of 5by calamityangel, 4 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Bergen2024, 5 months agoUsed this extension for ~2 years, found it to be essentially OK, not perfect but got the job done through some unintuitive means.
But a couple of times upon closing firefox all of my tab groups were simply emptied. (Might be due to ending firefox with task manager? But mostly didn't notice the issue till a day or so later so can't confirm).
Usually had some pretty recent backups but still very very annoying. Then today the same issue happened, and it turns out inexplicably my last backup was over a month ago and I lost almost a hundred saved tabs.
Cannot recommend this extension in its current state. - Rated 1 out of 5by Gary Miller, 5 months agoIf you asked me last week I would have given it five stars, for some reason it has decided to not save my tabs when I close firefox, I cant find a solution.
- Rated 1 out of 5by samu, 6 months agoMy tab groups' tabs suddenly placed on one tab group! 664 tab groups into one. 400+ tabs missing!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18519903, 8 months agoI was looking forward to this solving my tag organization problem, but ran into two issues:
1. When creating a group, all of the open tabs were automatically added to it. I can't find an option to keep this from happening. It's certainly not the behavior I want -- I want to be able to create groups that I need, and leave all the other tabs alone, and this extension doesn't seem flexible to that extent.
2. Once all the tabs were automatically added to that group, I couldn't remove them without simultaneously deleting all of the tabs. WTF? I ended up having to walk back the entire installation, restore the session and clean up the resulting mess. - Rated 1 out of 5by zugu, 8 months agoI recently switched from Chrome and I was expecing something similar to the tab grouping feature in Chrome, since this Firefox extension is so popular and comes with the recommended tag. Instead, I got a horribly unintuitive tab grouping experience, with tabs hidden god knows where.
This one is a tab hiding extension, not a tab grouping extension. - Rated 1 out of 5by dataharvester, 8 months agoInstalled and immediately added all of my open tabs to a hidden group, each of which requires several separate clicks to unhids manage or move to another group. Not visible from the extension manager, options hidden and unintuitive. Really shoudl be a basic browser functionality but not worth installing this even as an interim solution
- Rated 1 out of 5by Graviloquence, 9 months agoBuggy and unintuitive. Any time I tried to use this add-on I thought I was going to lose all my tabs just trying to get them back out of a group.
- Rated 1 out of 5by malau, 9 months agoI wanted something that actually MOVED a tab into an actual group !! Not just tagged an open tab as being in a group !!!!!
With this extension, as soon as you have added the tab to a group, you think "I can close it now, it's in a group". NO IT ISN'T ! You close the tab and it's gone ! Pretty pointless extension !
Totally doesn't do what it's name implies !!!!! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18456283, 9 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Adspectus, a year agoGood idea, bad implemented. I searched for a possibility to be able to move different tabs I opened related to a specific topic into the background while I am working on other topics. This add-on can manage this simple task but at the cost of overcomplexity and sloppy implementation. The settings are horrible many and poor documented, so you have to try a lot - risking the loss of your tabs. On the other hand, some settings I would except are not there, i.e. you cannot choose the location of the auto-backup by yourself. Actually I do not want any program to just save some files into a given folder on my workspace, I want to decide on that.
