- Rated 5 out of 5by Bullete, 3 years agoA must have extension for every Twitch user, this works like a charm and developer is always updating it when Twitch change something and extension doesn't work. Thank you so much for this.
- Rated 3 out of 5by ds, 3 years agoUnfortunately tag filtering stopped working in the "live channels" tab, even the "X" are gone from the tags.

posted 3 years agoTwitch changed some views on Monday and that broke it. I released a new version on Friday, but it is still in review by the Firefox Add-ons team and will probably take a few more days. - Rated 1 out of 5by NSEW, 3 years agoDisabled all other extensions, refreshed page, restarted browser a few times, refreshed page a few more time, etc... It didn't load a single time.

posted 3 years agoHow do you know it "didn't load"? Did you check if the extension appears in the address bar addons? Can you check the browser console for any errors when on twitch.tv? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16711652, 3 years agoThere are so many streams that are just irrelevant to me. This addon removes them easily so I can focus on the good stuff. Recently, however, when clicking the 'x' to hide a stream, I've been getting error: "The storage service encountered an unexpected error.
Please wait a few minutes, restart your browser and try again.".
What could cause this? Is there a limit to the number of streams I can hide? - Rated 5 out of 5by Elian, 3 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Funkymonkeyjedi, 3 years agoThe add-on works as advertised, which is great. But I have noticed a small "glitch" if you will, some of the CSS interferes with some of the native buttons. For example, on my browser (FF 85.0.2, and regularly updated), twitch's embedded right side chat panel's expand/close button disappears while the add-on is enabled. And same with the left side "Followed Channels" button as well.
As I pointed out this is not a huge issue (for me), I just thought I'd mention it regardless.
Thx for the great add-on, still giving it a 5 star. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13464709, 3 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Poochika278, 4 years agoUsed to work without any problems, but right now no matter what I do in the config tab, it doesn't save my changes. I hit the X on a random stream to test and when I try to remove it from the blacklist, I hit the save button and nothing changes when the tab closes. The stream is still blocked.
Edit (ver. 20.3.22): Alright, all my problems have been addressed. Don't know if you actually did anything with the "Manage Blacklist" button, but that's good now. Thanks a lot bru - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13690575, 4 years agoThe extension works great, it is very good ... but it has only 1 problem, and I hope you can one day update it ...
The problem is: can you hide the featured-content-carouse? What is shown there, is not hidden even if you have active the plugin and comply with your categories and other filters.
Thank God I love your app like you <3Developer response
posted 4 years agoUnfortunately the carousel is very tricky to deal with. Touching it easily breaks the whole frontpage, so I'd rather not tinker with it. The other popular extensions for Twitch (BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ) can completely disable the carousel, I think. You might want to look into them to accompany UnwantedTwitch for this matter. Sorry. - Rated 5 out of 5by skitch23, 4 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Spencer, 5 years agoWorks exactly how I wanted. I can finally hide channels based on tags.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Xarc, 5 years agoThe extension does not appear on Firefox 69.0.3./linux mint ... Removed/reinstalled it's not loading even with just Twitch page opened.
Edit: Now having the new 70.0 the icon appears and I can use the menu from it but it does not show the "X" to blacklist something. I'm not a computer savy and I ask you ... where the "X" button should appear ?
BTW ... to add-ons... why I can't reply to a developer here ?
Edit2: I'm sorry to mislead you about the "X" button. I was on the wrong section.
Now is working fine. Thank you.Developer response
posted 5 years agoDid you reload the Twitch tab after installing the extension? Does the extension icon show up in the address bar when on twitch.tv? Do other extensions work? What happens when you temporary disable all other extensions (except UnwantedTwitch)? Restart Firefox between your tests. This seems more like a Firefox issue you are having here. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13515253, 5 years agoBeautiful. More options than the previous user-script I was using.
