by i wanted V but i need more characters, 9 months agoThis is an amazing extension, even if you don't use vim for everything:
If you're at least somehow familiar with vim keybindings you'll quickly adapt to vimium, which main point for me is using less mouse and more hotkeys.
It has two main issues for me:
It doesn't work everywhere (for example in Jira i can't navigate the board with vim keybinds)
It doesn't support editing with vim keybinds which is understandable and idk which behavior would be more usable, but still can't help but insert some j's and k's into posts

ONLY thing i would love to see is a different dialogue box for vimium opening in new tab or same tab like both dialogue box can be a little different sometime i press ctrl + b and forgot that did i press ctrl or not and there's actually no way know if the link's Opening in new tab or same tab. - Rated 5 out of 5by ahsan, a month agoamazing. all keys adapted to what everyone needs, regex search and everything implemented. Every aspect of somebody's workflow has been accounted for. It's a shame it doesn't work on firefox' own things, like the pdf viewer

- Rated 5 out of 5by Sanjay Aiyagari, 5 months agoThis is incredible! The ability to grab the URL with yy alone is worth it! So easy to do yy Cmd-Tab Cmd-V and send someone a URL. The other cool thing is gu to "go up" a level - when a URL isn't working because of a site reorg this is helpful. And W to pop the tab to a new window. If you just do those 3 things you will love this even if you haven't learned vim. If you have... then I don't need to tell you any more...
