Your help states:
Zoom Page WE is implemented using the new WebExtensions API and is available for both Firefox and Chrome with identical functions and user interfaces.
I find this slightly incorrect. When I export per-site option in FF, the filetype is .TXT. From Chrome, the filetype is .JSON.
Not such a problem, but, I can't import the FF per-site options to CHROME, even if I change the filetype to .JSON
The onlyi thing I see may be a problem is the final statement from FF is
"subsitetypes":{},
}
It has a trailing comma, but when I export from Chrome there is none.
Can I import FF options into Chrome and how?

Old:
I justinstalled Zoom Page WE. (getting away from Zoom Page).
It breaks the following page:
https://www.ebay.com/dsc/Fiesta-Vintage/87/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=&LH_TitleDesc=1&_sop=10
I get the "unresponsive script" dialog. Does it consistently. I disable ZoompageWE and the page refreshes fine.
Running FF 52.4.0 EST... win 7 Pro, 32 bit
Addition, 10/4: Maybe I'm doing something wrong, But, it looks like I can not make more than one review. I wanted to list each problem in a separate review, but it looks like Mozilla deletes a previous review when I make a new one. So, communicating problems with reviews is problematic.
My second problem:
I set up the options to define customized zoom amounts(30, 40 50, etc) . I also set the Zoom In/Out to fixed steps of 4%.
using CTRL+ and CTRL- makes the zoom amount change by the "customized zoom amounts". Using the drop down menu + and - makes the zoom amounts change by the "In/Out fixed steps" amounts.
a. This is not documented
b. This is clumsy. That is, using the drop down menu is clumsy just to change a zoom amount. Any time I have to pick up the mouse and use it I am not happy. It would be perfect if I could define a keyboard shortcut for the two zoom by In/Out fixed amount functions. Or, just have them defined (maybe ctrl 11 and ctrl 12 or anything besides the mouse).Developer response
posted 7 years agoThe unresponsive script problem is fixed in Zoom Page WE 6.2.
With regards to the Ctrl+- and Ctrl++ keyboard shortcuts, iIt depends on whether the page contents are focused or something else (e.g. the address bar) is focused.
If the page contents are focused, then Ctrl+0, Ctrl+- & Ctrl++ will use the user-defined zoom levels or zoom step.
If something else (e.g. the address bar) is focused, then Ctrl+0, Ctrl+- & Ctrl++ will use the standard Firefox zoom levels. - Rated 5 out of 5by gugarci, 7 years agoJust upgraded to this version this morning. I knew how to access the option menu because I had use the previous version that worked on earlier version of Firefox. But when I saw the option dialog box at the bottom of the option page I thought it was an image of the menu not the actual option menu. Sent email to the developer who responded within a minute of sending him a support email. All is well.
Outstanding! - Rated 5 out of 5by SharpSA, 7 years agoIt is working good for me, but there is no complete automatic alignment to the width of the current window so you do not have to click it.
Developer response
posted 7 years agoZoom Page WE 6.0 implements fully automatic fit-to-width.
To turn on this feature you must enable the 'Apply AutoFit zoom instead of default zoom level' option. - Rated 5 out of 5by tmk333, 7 years agoI have no complain about the functionality, hence the 5 stars. :)
Just want to ask is it possible to make it zoom in/out by scrolling over the button? I am not sure if it is possible with WE but it will be a very nice thing to have.Developer response
posted 7 years agoIt is not possible to zoom in/out by scrolling over the toolbar button, because the WebExtensions APIs do not provide a listener for these scroll events.
However, you can zoom in/out by scrolling over the button popup or by Ctrl+scrolling over the page contents. - Rated 5 out of 5by Pavel777, 7 years agoStarting with version 5.2, the set scale of the page "chrome: //fvd.speeddial/content/fvd_about_blank.html" is not saved.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13285367, 7 years agoWorks perfectly fine for me :)
Exactly what I was looking for
Thanks - Rated 5 out of 5by ethsen, 7 years agoIf I choose to show the zoom level the toolbar icon shows only the number 10 instead of 100 for the zoom level. It's also not aligned properly with any other toolbar icon, it looks out of place. For now I just disable the zoom level to the default icon, unfortunately the black % icon is barely readable using the new built-in Firefox dark theme. Hopefully there will be an option to change the color to white.
EDIT: The issue with 100 being cut off was was due to a font setting in my userChrome.css. - Rated 5 out of 5by some_user, 7 years agoGreat to see this being ported to WebExtensions. Maybe I just can't find it, but there is one thing I miss from the original extension: option to turn on auto-fit zoom *globally*, i.e. everything is zoomed to fit the width of the browser window (including new pages/tabs). This is extremely useful for using external monitors. But in any case, thanks for this addon!
Developer response
posted 7 years agoGlobal AutoFit zoom is a feature that was omitted during the migration of Zoom Page to the new WebExtensions API's.
However, it is feature that many users will miss when they move to Zoom Page WE. The intention is to add a new 'Apply AutoFit instead of Default Level' option in the next release. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12957229, 7 years agoBalloon message:
For Per-Site zoom mode, 'browser.zoom.siteSpecific' must besetto 'true' in 'aboufcconfig' preferences - Rated 5 out of 5by Lucas, 7 years agoMuch better for those just wanting text zoom functionality. Thanks for the hard work.
- Rated 5 out of 5by dLeon, 7 years agoOther commentators already mentioned it's the best you can find.
Idi0t proof & just work. - Rated 5 out of 5by streetwolf, 8 years agoThe best since the old NoSquint. Web Extensions ready too.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12365963, 8 years agoThis is the best text zooming addon you can find. It does the job easily without messing up functionality like zooming an image with a scroll wheel. It has per site text zoom and default text zoom. The only thing was that it required me to go into about:config to enable per site zooming.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Zingerus, 8 years agoDon't work on Firefox for Android 48.0, although for android.
Developer response
posted 8 years agoZoom Page WE is compatible with Firefox (for desktop) 48+, but is not compatible with Firefox for Android.
Zoom Page was mistakenly marked as compatible with Firefox for Android. This has now been corrected.
