Also, it did not ask for unneeded permissions! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16555967, 4 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by HLS Video Download, 4 years agoWorked fine for the one file that I downloaded so far. There are minor cosmetic improvements that I would like to suggest:
1) it should be possible to undo an "Automatically select quality" setting (i.e. completely remove it without toggling to a different setting)
2) The icons used on the download screen are not that self explanatory and they should provide some tool-tip text
3) the plugin's tool-menu (see plugin's icon in Firefox's toolbar) seems to list duplicate video entries that should better be filtered out (no big deal since download buttons are also directly available in the video's widget) - Rated 1 out of 5by JayoChase, 4 years agoTried to download a Vimeo video. It opened a webpage and something seemed to be happening, a progress bar went from 0 to 100% slowly. At the end, the progress bar said 100% and nothing happened after that. No clear process of what to do. Help information for the addon was very vague and didn't help. Not sure if I'm missing something or if this is a garbage plugin.
I clicked download (1080p) again and the same process happened, again without a video file given or without a "your download is ready click here to get the file" kind of message. Confusing addon. Also has ads and such that make me nervous about using it. Seems sketchy.Developer response

On the Firefox browser's menu, select Tools, then select Downloads to view the finished file. - Rated 4 out of 5by Miguelel, 4 years ago
