- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12797025, 2 years agoAbout permissions: This extension needs to "access your data for all websites", "as well as data you enter into those web pages, such as usernames and passwords."
Why is such a permission needed? - Rated 5 out of 5by Amaryllis5967, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by ilmaisin, 2 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14117240, 2 years agoReally useful system when it works. Obviously with there being a lot of different systems used for cookie consent forms, it often doesn't, and I've seen a couple of times it failing to work on ones it has attempted to act on, but it definitely does cut down on dealing with cookie consent dialogues, and I would recommend it.

Use uBlock Origin with Cookies list. - Rated 5 out of 5by Adam, 2 years agoTo all who are coming here from I Don't Care About Cookies due to Avast buyout:
These add-ons do entirely different things!
IDCAC simply hides the pop-ups so they don't annoy you, it doesn't deny them. Cookies can still be stored.
Consent-O-Matic actually performs the logic to explicitly *deny* the cookies for you automatically, as well as hiding the pop-up.
This is a functionally better extension anyway, so it's a good thing that people are switching.
Just wanted to drop this note here because people seem to think they do the same thing, when they do not. - Rated 5 out of 5by fernman, 2 years agoWorks very well for me. Good riddance to the well-known one that is now owned by Avast!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Gints, 2 years agoGreat alternative to I don't care about cookies. In many ways it is much better
- Rated 2 out of 5by AdamAnon, 2 years agoSeems to work only on English language sites, it doesn't work on German and Polish sites. When it does work, it works well.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Iyff, 2 years agoSadly doesn't work at all, I get cookie prompts everywhere with the temporary containers.
- Rated 5 out of 5by vestibules, 2 years agoIncredible. Doesn't work everywhere but you can't expect it to either. The fact that it works as well as it does is a goddamn miracle.
