- Rated 4 out of 5by kch, 5 years agoFairly nice and working well. I have been enjoying using it. One improvement which I would appreciate is that way it renders text/search fields & icon links. Now it is often wrapped with a white border with rounded corners and does not match back to the interface of some websites (e.g. DuckDuckGo, social media sharing icons). It also disable/hide some icon links (e.g. on Medium when trying to clap hands or saving an article, icon buttons on the left) and emoji display (on Facebook posts).

Edit, 20200618: This addon BREAKS Paypal. It is certainly not nice to break a financial webpage. At Paypal I receive the message "Sorry about that! Looks like this action is not supported. Please return and report this error so that we support it in the future. (invalid client_id or redirect_url)". The error occurs when checking out an item on Ebay and selecting Paypay payment method.
This addon is good at what it does. However:
1. it is VERY SLOW, I find it much better than other "eye-saving" or "dark screening" addons. It's coloring options are much more comprehensive and it handles subtle shades of gray from the original web page well. (These often become indistinguishable with these addons.)
2. It breaks many pages
3. It needs a hotkey to disable/enable the current page. There are just too many things that become invisible too often.
4. The list of disabled pages needs to be sorted alphabetically.
5. The options page needs some cleanup and better explanation of what the options do.
Note: I was running FF 68. With that, I discovered DBLT (dark background light text) breaks the Zoom Page WE addon. Upgraded to FF74 and problem solved (with quick help from DBLT author!). - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15734302, 5 years ago

В отличии от даркридера не грузит браузер - поэтому страницы загружаются быстрее. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 5591775, 5 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15704532, 5 years agoA few things that would make this even better:
A toggle based system so that I can turn it on whenever I feel like it.
A whitelist based system so that I can only turn on black mode for the sites I want, instead of having to disable all the sites that I don't want to have this extension enabled on.
Default color should be something lighter in the first place. SoL but hey. - Rated 3 out of 5by hambone, 5 years agoI like what it does and it seems to work well, but I'm disabling for now because it makes my pages bug out for a few seconds while loading and then changing the colors. Probably just my crap computer, so results may be different for you.
