- Rated 1 out of 5by Atherworld, 6 years agoNo matter what, it'll always prevent a page from preloading. Even when you set a page to preload. Which prevents proper use of Youtube.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Phillip, 6 years agoIt works MOST of the time with YouTube. I usually have to reload the video page for it to kick in.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14721596, 6 years agoWorked great for the most of 2018. Then the videos started autoplaying again... CNN, ESPN. Uninstalled today and am currently using another autoplay disabler
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13274950, 6 years agoDoesn't work for me. It's a shame there is only one app to choose from. Opera/Chrome offer several.
- Rated 1 out of 5by SlickStretch, 6 years agoCauses many video streams to fail, throwing the following JavaScript error: "This video cannot be played due to a technical error.(error 200001)"
- Rated 3 out of 5by swudi, 6 years agoI'm using waterfox, the add-on works by stopping the htm5 video autoplay, but it doesn't stop video buffering, I can live with this limitation, but the biggest issue that made me uninstalling the add-on is the add-on somehow lags the browser when enabled. FYI I have multiple tabs opened with tabmixplus add-on. Also, the toolbar button UI is a bit buggy (maybe it's waterfox compatibility issue)
- Rated 4 out of 5by Khlieb, 6 years agoSince Firefox 66 released, Firefox can disable HTML5 autoplay by default on all platforms.
- Rated 1 out of 5by leftdisconnected, 6 years agoUnfortunately, this add-on is not doing anything at all for me in Firefox 65.0.2 on Windows7 64-bit. I like how it has options for both "autoplay" and "pre-loading" and that it is designed for all HTML5 video sites.
Other reports suggest that it works for some people, but not for others. Too bad, as the concept is useful and the interface is well-designed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14675749, 6 years agoJust installed it 30 minutes ago & it seems to be working well for me on Yahoo Finance.

- Rated 4 out of 5by rosekitsune1, 6 years agoI'm using Firefox Nightly 67 64bt on my Windows 10 October 2018 laptop. And the add on does not work at all on YouTube and... any other sites.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14609241, 6 years agoIt works but where's the source code you "licensed with X11"?
- Rated 5 out of 5by ykzarb, 6 years agoI'm thrilled to say that, to date, this works exactly as described--including Youtube videos. What a relief. While it would be very nice to have a whitelist, I have not found it too distracting to have to click once to get a video started.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14590441, 6 years agoI actually love your addon (I should have rated it 5 stars). The problem I have is that it's actually breaking a site that I go to heavily -- (https://www.wowhead.com). I've unchecked the site from the icon, yet the settings information does not list that the site was excluded. Actually I can't find a way to manually exclude (type in the actual url of the site) this addon from working on a particular site. This addon works like a dream to prevent sites that I visit from auto loading video. I just wish that I could keep it from working on other sites that I visit. (ie the check - uncheck boxes are not working) {{{Win 10, Firefox 64.0.2}}}
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13958285, 6 years agoIt conflicts with the PayU form. When you try to enter anything, the form disappears. Because I have 30 plugins, finding a guilty little pissed off. I've lost a lot of time. And the plugin works on average, especially on YouTube. Thank you, but no longer ...
- Rated 2 out of 5by Tiffin, 6 years agoThis add-on only half works. It works for other sites that use HTML5 video but NOT YouTube.
