The extension's purpose is to prevent links in Google pages (Search, Gmail, maps, etc.) from turning into an unreadable, obscured link (see the add-on description for a clear example). The address bar has nothing to do with that. What you may see in the address bar are search suggestions, provided by the search provider that you have selected. If these links have an undesired format, then you need to find another search provider. - Rated 5 out of 5by Voukras, 6 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 11796372, 6 years agoNot as good as it claims and is shown in the picture. A large part of the tracking code has disappeared, but not everything. Above all, it is also very annoying that the browser used is still betrayed to google. Example: `https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b&ei=TaIMXJzVAorVwQKhrqSIBw&q=%22spamhaus%22`.

posted 6 years agoCan you show an example of a LINK that is not fixed by the extension? This extension only fixes links, not search queries from the location bar.
The specific URL that you've shown does not contain sensitive tracking information: Besides the query itself, it contains the timestamp of the search query and the source (client) of the search request. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14476445, 6 years agoOnly addon to remove redirect before click so works on android. Also great optional feature to have the HTTP referrer cleared when clicking on a search result. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14247366, 6 years ago
