- Rated 3 out of 5by McBob, 4 years agoAn incredible addon, and I would give it a 5 star rating but for one thing — when you open the cache tab to copy something that isn't your last inputted text, and click the copy button next to the one you want to copy, it adds unnecessary formatting HTML code to what's copied, rather than just copying only what you actually entered.
If there was a way to make copying from the Cache page, rather than the dropdown menu plain text only, I would give it 5 stars. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15676146, 4 years agoM'a dépanné plus d'une fois, super module ! Indispensable
- Rated 5 out of 5by XerraX, 4 years agoA 'must have' addon. Works really well and saves users from a lot of annoyances due to accidental page reloads caused by pressing F5, backspace, mouse's forward/back buttons, esc, page reload clicks, auto-refreshings, page or system, electricity cut-outs, and other unfortunate happenings.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Andrei Brebenel, 4 years agoThe best addon of its kind, absolutely essential for anyone who types a lot in Firefox.
- Rated 5 out of 5by David Maisonave, 4 years agoTextarea Cache just save me from having to rewrite a feedback I spent 40 minutes writing.
The feedback form timeout, and closed the formed. It discarded all the text I entered without warning!
I screamed loudly until I remembered I had Textarea Cache installed. I was able to retrieve the text with no problem.
Thank God for Textarea Cache! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12603536, 5 years agoI have tried another extension with menus everywhere. This one is light and discreet, but easy to use.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Alex, 5 years agoIt does a simple job and for me it does it good, saved me some nerves from time to time when some timeouts happen in our ticket systems (OTRS, JIRA).
Works on recent versions of FF, has a history and is slightly customizable.
It's not a lazarus but it's also not trying to. I'm happy about every wall fo text that's not lost. - Rated 4 out of 5by lil_king420, 5 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15726855, 5 years agoone of the most important features today is saving your writings - they get lost so easily. Thanks a lot for this one

Thank you for the work - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12160845, 5 years agoWorry-saving add-on, so easy to use - thank you so much! :-))
- Rated 5 out of 5by Amaylia, 5 years agoThis add-on has saved my butt a countless number of times. I haven't had any issues using it on any of the forms that I use... it's worked on reddit, my medical providers website, and many other forums where I've typed up lengthy messages only to have it get wiped out by an expired session or other issue. I'm extremely thankful for it!

- Rated 4 out of 5by reikred, 5 years agoWhen I click on the Textarea Cache addon icon, addon should immediately save the text area (if any) of the active tab. Why? Because the exact timing of saves has been unpredictable, and I have experienced that the TaC is not up to date when I needed it to be. That is, I lost some typed text by some misfortune. Otherwise a great addon.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13897107, 5 years ago很實用的一套件! 可惜快速鍵的下拉選單是顯示網址,改成顯示內容會比較直覺,有些區域的欄位也不會備份到
- Rated 2 out of 5by Adam, 5 years agoIt only works on some pages, doesn't work on websites I use the most, so it's pretty useless for me.
If this get fixed I'll give it more stars, the idea is good, functionality bad.
