- Rated 5 out of 5by dava007, 4 years agoThis extension with ublock origin makes Firefox the only viable web browser on Android (if you use Firefox 69and older... They broke the extensions in the new version, which makes the new versions of Firefox irrelevant as far as I am concerned,so I keep the old one).

- Rated 5 out of 5by Fred P, 4 years agoMarche parfaitement bien sur firefox 68.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16269647, 4 years agoOne of the best/usefull addons. Sadly Mozilla team killed with this forced and unwanted Firefix update to 80* (less than beta quality product) :(

posted 4 years agoThanks. You'll be glad to know that at least in Nightly the add-on can be installed again as of now, although unfortunately background playback will still be rather broken due to Firefox currently being a little too aggressive in throttling background tabs. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16269110, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by ls, 4 years agoGreat plugin. Looking at the firefox for android support linked on the "disabled addons" page it seems not to be the developers fault that the plugin is not yet available. See also github.com/mozilla/video-bg-play ... Anyway, I miss the plugin since the update ;-(

posted 4 years agoAt least in Nightly it can be installed again now, though unfortunately due to Firefox being a little over-eager in suspending background tabs it won't help much. - Rated 4 out of 5by BP, 4 years ago

posted 4 years agoIt's already installable again on Nightly, although unfortunately this issue (https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/9691) in Firefox needs fixing as well, so Beta and Release Firefox users might have to wait a little longer. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16262089, 4 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16255852, 4 years agoI was extremely disappointed when I opened my Firefox on mobile today only to find that my video background play fix addon no longer works because they no longer support Android. Why is this? This was the only reason I used Firefox on my mobile. Looks like I am looking for a workaround for this one.

(Any workarounds would unfortunately run into the same Firefox bug, so wouldn't really help either)
