- Rated 5 out of 5by –Phase–, 10 months agoVery, very good replacement for Enhancer for Youtube. Has all the same features Enhancer did, and even some that it didn't. I will be using this until Enhancer comes back (if it ever does). Thanks a lot for providing this amazing extension!

posted 10 months agohi! you could also always use both. This is growing since 2012 (just late on Firefox). looking forward to fast maintenance always through finally being visible /popular enough on github to attract some volunteers and want to register a non-profit. - Rated 5 out of 5by armadillo1899, 10 months agoSadly the subtitle customisation only works on desktop mode if you're on mobile. I hope it'll get fixed in the future.

posted 10 months agohi! yet we run on www.youtube.com, so nothing runs on m.youtube.com, which sees ~17% as much traffic and i like it being less heavy of a page and wondered to suggest it to desktop users /with modification - "mobile youtube always" : https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues/1211 - Yet it also is a different website, thus the layout / UI work will oftne be like a new extension and both are subject to change /need maintenance. - Besides playback features like speed and volume and pip are a browser standard and might already work on many websites, if we let the extension run there (so we should first finish every idea about these, as they last may only cause 5 star reviews.) - Please post any requests and ideas in our github (~=todo-list) - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18247726, 10 months agoNot usable: impossible to add channels to blocklist.

posted 10 months agohi, please rate us for all of our (100+) features. (Otherwise it is not fair, compared to all other extensions.)
Also: This is a "misplaced support requested": the button is on the channel pages (we can add it on channels too to be easy to find, but we already do 100s of things for free and it is impossible to do every possible thing users imagine). A volunteer recently even revised this whole feature though! AND the feature is displayed small & las,t because we might retire one day, since YouTube also offers such by now. - Rated 1 out of 5by ee, 10 months agoOffers good functionalities, but seems rarely able to enforce them. E.g. I almost always have to turn autoplay off and cancel up next videos manually. It's features are well thought out; it's just wildly inconsistent.
edit:
what even was that drivel? how is this rating-manipulating heckling even allowed on AMO?Developer response
posted 10 months agoHi there, read again maybe? Whats not supposed to do here is misplacing support requests in reviews. Be assured an author's comment can be relevant more easily. You might not want to launch wrongful attacks here either like "wildly inconsistent".
---
Hi there, several people confused the number of options and how specific they are: Autoplay means if a video is starting to play at page load without a click. Disabling "Up next Autoplay" is another features that you want to use separately (or both, your choice).
(Most of our users yet bring the interest/geek to watch up to 100 switches. )
Also please consider that no matter what we work for free since 11 years and 100s of times than most extensions with a single feature never requiring an update. So we deserve more than 5 stars. Our features are consistently developed and some might (or might not) temporarily have issues after YouTube changes. (Since YouTube doesn't announce these changes, it is the best we can possibly do. The only hope to manage this 24/7 service perfectly is many users and luckily we grow. Slowly tho. With every bad and inaccurate review it gets worst, my hope goes down. That's the purpose of review. You decide if you want such to be attempted any further or just not bother, or even vote it down to make it stop existing.) - Rated 5 out of 5by Aguilucho, 10 months agoMy playback is interrupted by short commercial videos at the beginning, middle and end.
What do I need to configure so that this does not happen?
I hope it turns out to go up to 5 stars.
Now, After developer response:
OK, sorry. The addon description says "Make YouTube tidy & powerful! YouTube Player Size Theme Quality Auto HD Colors Playback Speed Style ad block Playlist Channel H.264"
I read "ad block" and I understood like "ad block".
Sorry. Have you a nice day
Now, After developer second response:
Okay. I didn't know I was asking for something impossible by misunderstanding you with "ad block". I give you 5 starsDeveloper response
posted 10 months agoHi again! We serve 500000 users since 11 years with over 100 features and few of them have our ad-removing feature enabled only. It works well, in that it removed all banner ads on Youtube. Skipping Videos ads might not always work. YouTube tolerates it a few times and then ignores it. BTW Most users who want to remove ads might have ublock-origin primarily and they are happy if we can block even more.
As said you write the obvious about youtube ads here, as if it was our fault. It can misleading a quick reader to expect adware here. You might noticed, that youtube is locking out the blockers since october.) BTW i added the keyword to the list recently because extensions copying our adblocker-code got a million users. That was the other day, when all worked exceptionally still. (This is a Sisyphos task.)

Hello there! this feels like a bad joke very much. Maybe you knew already that YouTube is commercial and want to search for an adblocker. I'm serving non-commercially since over 11 years. I am not an adblocker. I deserve 5 stars already (actually more) - Rated 5 out of 5by Clooney, 10 months agoVery damn useful! it expands the description zone and many more features! good extensioN!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18242037, 10 months agoHas many good assets to youtube however my main problem seems to be the screenshot tab as any edit to the main youtube page takes a screenshot of whatever video I'm watching and I won't even realize until I have fifteen screenshots of the same image on my PC

posted 10 months agohi! you can disable them (you just didnt find the 3 toggles). You can go to "player" or: "appearance: details", or just type 'screenshot' after opening the extension. You are the first user asking. (maybe because YouTube is changing and having occupied the space differently is rare). We now have a copy of the buttons in the player settings again to make I added them there again for you now. Our project is a sisyphos-task (uphill race) since 11 years as work /youtube updates never ended. There are few extensions as ambitious as this. The rating system doesn't really cover this. (So we should have more than 5 stars & 3 stars is bad). if we ever get funded, we can finally hire a few people and develop several times faster. PocketTube is 5(?) years old but managed to get 2000 paid subscriptions it seems. And if you will, the buttons by default, next to usually being appreciated, can serve as a reminder to new users that we exist. If they don't care to find the toggle they are free to uninstall. Unfortunately right now the buttons don't appear in the activated features list currently, which shows not-final work. Subject to change. Please join us on Github if you have any ideas. - Rated 5 out of 5by @SubToYoutuber YT, 10 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by MJ1, 10 months agook...great tool by the way. and I would like to request some fixes and features.
1. when I turn of "allow 60 fps".....it disables 1080 and above resolution in videos.
2. the playback speed control. I like that the speed can be controlled by 5% increments..but whenever I change the playback speed using this tool....youtube page reloads. is it possible to add a button on the video to adjust speed without opening the extension everytime? and make it not reload everytime. thank you very much.
