- Rated 1 out of 5by Mario, 7 years agohe podido usarlo una sola vez.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13886508, 7 years agoThe extension works perfectly! Very awesome extension.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13519282, 7 years agoWorks just fine. It's hardly the dev's fault that the latest Firefox requires an external tool, but this extension works and it's not difficult to install.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13660385, 7 years agoPre-quantum, this was one of my favourite extensions. Bringing in something Mozilla themselves forgot. Now, though, with the requirement to install a separate app from a random developer, just seems fishy. I certainly can't use it at work anymore. A real shame. I'm blaming Mozilla for this one, the whole extensions change is basically just "here's Chrome but with the name Firefox", which is crap. Sorry for the negative review, I just can't use this anymore, and I'm a little mythed, as I did like this extension.

posted 7 years agoHello,
you can still use legacy addon version using this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/always-on-top/versions/2.1.25.1-signed.1-signed
but you will have to use older firefox to install it
anyway, that's not some "separate app from a random developer":
1) I am the only developer of that app
2) You can check it with whatever antivirus you like
3) It's so small that you can't possibly put anything harmful inside
4) Please believe me - it uses pretty much the same code as in legacy addon, it just had to be moved outside

Vasyl Maherka - Rated 5 out of 5by Shahbaz, 7 years agoIch finde das Add-On super, genau das was ich brauche funktioniert auch so weit so gut mit allen programmen. :)
Schonmal Danke im Vorraus :D

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13637147, 7 years agoCtrl-Shift+F7 just brings up the add-ons tab. Clicking on the github link brings up the files but running them doesn't change anything. Doesn't work at all.

posted 7 years agoHello,
I'm really sorry you had such bad experience using my extension,
It looks like your antivirus is blocking my application, could you please give me detailed problem description by vm.devr@gmail.com email? I'm sure we can work it out!
Regards,
Vasyl Maherka - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13635145, 7 years agoThanks, it works exactly as expected.
The Ctrl+Shift+F7 shortcut is very usefull for windows without a direct access to the extensions button (answers Audrey's questions below) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13632334, 7 years agoGott sei Dank funktioniert dieses Addon wieder. Ideal zum Video gucken. Bedauerlich, das Firefox selbst diese Möglichkeit nicht bietet.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13616161, 7 years agoVery liked extension until recent changes. If you require additional app for your extension to work you need to publish sources - you already using github to distribute it! But without sources it looks like malware or just incompetence to me.
edit:
Ok, i found solution for me. I'm using previous version of FF, so i can install corresponding version of extension. But still this situation with binaries and no sources is suspiciousDeveloper response
posted 7 years agoUPDATED:
Hello,
There are so many anti viruses to check any binary, I thought that's enough. Anyway, thank you, I will think about publishing my code.

posted 7 years agoHello!
Yes, that's good idea - I'll write an unistaller too
UPDATE: Uninstaller is implemented, you can get it from here: https://vm-devr.github.io/aot/- Rated 4 out of 5by Audrey Azura, 7 years agoThank you very much for this extension. I only have one problem: when I pop out a window (a video, for example), the top bar is reduced and I don't have access to the pin button. Is there a way to add it in a menu, so it is accessible in this kind of window?
EDIT: sorry, I didn't find how to answer your comment, so I try to edit mine and hope you will see it. The pop out is an option I have on some video player, such as Picarto. I have the option shown on this picture: http://puu.sh/yyy48/5fdd061b5a.png
When clicking on "Pop out", I have this kind of window: http://puu.sh/yyy6i/f668f7de2d.jpg
There is only a limited number of option and, sadly, the pin is not among them. I hope there is a way to make it appear.Developer response
posted 7 years agoHello
For now only toolbar button is implemented. I'm thinking about context menu item or hotkey
Could you please tell exactly how you do "pop out a window"?
Thank you
P.S. Hotkey is implemented - try and use Ctrl+Shift+F7 - Rated 1 out of 5by JRDGRS, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by SmileX, 7 years agoIt is not working, my anti-virus is blocking the AOT.exe file, it is marking it as a virus,
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I am using Avira AntivirusDeveloper response
posted 7 years agoHello, let's work together to fix the issue
Firstly, I must tell that such a functionality can't be implemented without additional binary in firefox quantum
Secondly, you might check it with VirusTotal.com - it checks a binary with more than 50 different antiviruses
And last, could you please tell me the name of your antivirus so I can work with them and prove that my app isn't doing anything wrong?
I'm sorry you have troubles using my extension
P.S. Thank you for the update, I'll get it fixed
