- Rated 5 out of 5by rodnet, 4 years agogreat for convenience the concerns for me is that it breaks the idea of a second factor. yes getting your phone out is a pain, but it also makes you more secure. If your desktop is hacked they still need access to your phone. Using 2factor does add security and the ease of use of your extension likely encourages people who would not normally enable 2fa ti use it so that is one way to look at it. anyway just my thoughts on the subject.
