- Rated 1 out of 5by Jo Li KMC, 7 months agoI recently switched web browsers due to some… irritations… and I was hoping to find an Addon like "Text Blaze" for Google Chrome. I've gotten very accustomed to having my text "expanded" as it does on mobile devices, and I find the feature very handy. Sadly, this Addon doesn't suit that need at all.
Sometimes, it works. It seemed to operate just fine under search engines like Google and other simple forms, and it works well under its own "try it here" form. Most times, however, it doesn't work at all. Noteworthy examples of this are Online Notepad, Discord, and this very review form.
Please remedy this and get back to us. Thank you. - Rated 1 out of 5by Dizlol, a year ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Darvin Atkeson, a year agoSeems to work just fine in the test area but can't get it to work with Facebook or even in this text box for the review. Needs work.
Would also prefer a hot key to make it activate instead. For instance, type any word and hit a F3 or other designated key. This would allow you to use common words and have them activate only when you wanted.
Alternative it could popup a dialog on hot words and you hit TAB to enter the auto text. Using common words would make it simpler.
But right now, it just doesn't work at all. :( - Rated 1 out of 5by Lemons22, a year agoAddon is busted, but probably in a way that most don't care about...but I do! It claims to be able to "Store unlimited amount of client-side data" HOWEVER there is a limit on how much data it can store obviously cause I have run into that damn limit and I can't create any more shortcuts. REMOVE THIS LIMIT or at least greatly raise the upper limit cause we are probably talking about megabytes here I don't know why the limit is so harsh.

- Rated 2 out of 5by blue crow, 2 years agoIt couldn't expand a simple phrase correctly. But the idea is good.
- Rated 2 out of 5by James Harris, 2 years agoI don't like that this injects jQuery into my pages. This isn't unsafe, but it causes undesired console activity when I'm working on my own software. The program sometimes fails to work and sometimes it fails to delete the trigger text.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Scotch-And-Dry, 3 years agoReally great addin to Firefox. The %clip% feature does not work on Firefox though which is a real shame as that would be really handy.

- Rated 1 out of 5by hdbngr666, 3 years agoDoes not work in Facebook, hitting Enter sends shortcut text, hitting spacebar crashes window.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14497406, 3 years agoIt works, but not all pages. For some reason, it ignores some text areas, and won't work in them.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Alan, 4 years agoThe ext is fire, simple, quick and reliable. But you can also see that the creator did not worry about removing chrome instructions on the Firefox version, the "useful tips" section is mostly chrome features. Also the type "ate and hit tab" does not work on Firefox. Almost seems like the app was copied, pasted and forgotten.
UPDATE the app has not been updated since the user created their profile, which was 2 years ago. - Rated 5 out of 5by natagush, 4 years agoGreat job! You can logically only use it on websites or on the home in Firefox, but not in the link bar on the top. You can't edit or program something in the link bar :) That's why it only works on Websites or on Google/Home. Anyways great and simple addon! It works and you can add unlimited Shortcuts! Love it :)
- Rated 1 out of 5by Schimmy, 4 years agoUnfortunately did not work except outside of the extension setup page! Hopefully I'm mistaken, I would love to use this tool.
(Using Firefox on Mac) - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16761517, 4 years agoIt works pretty well with my Firefox Quantum 69.0.3 (64-bit) even with Google Docs, and generally I'm satisfied. However, there's one huge issue - I cannot reset / remove any data this extension stores. I have imported a quite large JSON library, and now I need to replace it with another one. Import/Export button does not help with removing old data. Removing Firefox cookies & site data does not help either. Removing and reinstalling the extension does not work. Seems like the only way to do this is to manually hit 'trash' button near each of the 700 entries in the library which is not efficient. I cannot use this extension due to this issue any more. For other people to prevent this I would recommend saving empty or almost empty data set as a local backup and use this backup to reset extension. My backup file is huge as well so it won't work for me at this point.
