- Rated 1 out of 5by rmi, 5 years agoAvoid this company, they are selling your browsing data to third parties. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/qjdkq7/avast-antivirus-sells-user-browsing-data-investigation They claim they are now winding down that business, however, they do it only because of the pressure after being caught, I cannot trust them anymore. Not recommended, trust is hard to earn, but easy to lose, they do not appreciate it enough.
Another negative experience, it keeps installing without permission. Avast seems to be very eager to get their hands on your browsing data. - Rated 1 out of 5by Rijkaard, 5 years agoI thought this was a great extension, until it was revealed that Avast is selling sensitive information about your browsing habits!! I have disabled it until Avast comes clean. It's completely disappointing that a company that is supposed to protect you is actually ACTING LIKE MALWARE!!!

posted 5 years agoThank you for your feedback. We were always trying to be transparent about this data sharing and recently we did even more changes to be more transparent about this. - Rated 1 out of 5by KxNdrLXKSUPmcImWBIYhr, 5 years ago

Es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit die Blockierung zu umgehen außer das Add-On wieder zu deinstallieren. Was ich auch sofort machen werde.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15375616, 5 years agoCauses flashes of unstyled content in loads and loads and loads of sites (and has done for ages), to the point that it is hard to fathom how this passed QA and how the bug hasn't been fixed yet.

posted 5 years agoHi,
thank you for review. This situation was most likely caused by scenario, where you had this extension already installed but disabled. There was a situation on mozilla side
https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/
And most likely the Avast Software Updater updated firefox and due to this it brought fix for extensions and they got re-activated. - Rated 1 out of 5by Nelson Rodrigues, 5 years ago
