When you a temp to use a MASTER password manager program one accepts that the program functions. Why have a password program that fails and deletes it's own passwords when it automatically updates itself? Why spend ones money on a set of programs when one program that should not fail -EVER... goes about destroying its own Master Password?
Ask yourself... why would I write a review of a company and it's product/s according to how that company wants itself to be reviewed? Like talk about a company being full of itself - when it provides a means to have it's products reviewed but only demands that its product to be reviewed in a manor that it dictates it self? This is equal a belief that one is above reproach and should be never questioned!!! You can not ask to be reviewed but then demand to be reviewed only in a way that is according to ones belief on how it should be reviewed. If done so then this would not be a review but a statement accord to how a company believes it is. It is to demand that everyone should lie for it and never tell the truth.
I once thought Avira was a good company; that it had good products but my opinion of it has greatly changed. I have yet to see a company so full itself as to attempt to tell its customers to "Follow our review guidelines" yet Avira seems to believe that it should be telling everyone how to be reviewing it's product/s using only their guidelines. Why would someone doing a review only write what a company wants the review to say? What is this company? A kick back from the 1930's and 40's? I hope not but it seems very likely I will not be renewing this set of programs because of its great failings by providing insecure SECURITY software. it then attempt to tell me how to produce a review of these products. I have yet to run into a company so audacious and prideful as this one.
This is a breach of trust to all their clients not just myself, when a company demands that one "follows its guidelines" when writing a review. This is why I give Avira a single star and say this "Avira has greatly disappointed me and destroyed my trust and creates even greater doubt that it in fact does provide secure security software.

posted 5 years agoHello,
I'm very sorry to hear that you experienced issues with our Password Manager. I can just offer you to reach out to our support and we'll be glad to try to find a solution.
As to the review process, I assume you are referring to a review here at the Mozilla Addons store, these are guidelines set and enforced by Mozilla and not Avira.
Best regards,
Markus
