posted a month agoHey there! Thank you for using my addon. From what I understand, the functionality that you want, is to save the marked positions permanently for that particular webpage across browsing sessions. I was also thinking about something like that but I also have something else in my mind. It would be nice if you can create an issue on this addons homepage and then we could have a discussion about the possible strategy!

However, many times on mobile, I lose me place of reading because when the page refreshes, I end up all the way at the beginning of the page. I THOUGHT this add-on was answer to that issue, as the pin works in taking me back to where I was prior...
Only, I tested out if it could handle page refreshes... only to learn that the pins are removed if that happens.
Meaning, that when I'm out of my browser for too long, and my pages refresh upon coming back, the pin(s) I made will be gone, and I'm back to where I started.
If the creator to do something to fix this, that would be great. If not... then this was a bust.Developer response
posted 22 days agoHey there! Thank you for giving a review and using my addon.
Persisting the pins functionality really looks like an exciting feature to add to this extension. And I think, that I should really implement this now.
But for your issue of 'page going to back to beginning on refresh', I cannot replicate this on my latest Firefox on android. On refreshing, the page always seems to scroll back to the last position before refresh. I've again verified this by closing the app and restarting it.
Maybe unchecking the "cache" entry in "delete browsing data on quit" setting on android would somehow help.
If you need more help or have recommendation, you can create an issue on this extension's GitHub homepage. Developer response
posted 2 years agoThanks for the review friend. Yeah, I need to work on the UI, and I think adding the ability to fold should be good.
