- Rated 5 out of 5by bLoodyBios, 2 years agoThat's great. Very helpful in sorting out bookmarks. Is development discontinued? And, is there a way to make a shorcut for commander's activation?
- Rated 4 out of 5by Dylan666, 2 years agoAdd an option to Drag&Drop bookmarks on folder icons (without opening each of them) and will be perfect!
At the moment if I drag a bookmark on a folder icon it will be moved below and not inside (yes, I read the FAQ #5 but I'd like a Windows-style-behaviour, it would speed up my work) - Rated 5 out of 5by damry, 3 years agoWprawdzie brakuje mi pewnych funkcjonalności ale koncepcja na przegląd i porządkowanie jest godna pochwalenia :)
- Rated 5 out of 5by harl windwolf, 3 years agoThis has already improved a lot.
Two more things, though:
Please make it automatically save and restore the columns widths (in percent), at least for the Link and Name columns. And if you could somehow improve the overall performance, especially with thousands of bookmarks, that would be great. - Rated 5 out of 5by Paul B, 3 years ago

Works well with 3500+ bookmarks and 500+ folders. Plus the author is responsive (on GitHub). See https://add0n.com/bookmarks-commander.html for more documentation. - Rated 2 out of 5by freesailor, 3 years agoIn Firefox I have A LOT of bookmarks (thousands, accumulated over the years) and the performance of this add-on is more than bad.
If I want to move some bookmarks to a newly created folder, if I'm lucky with just one bookmark it takes three to four seconds, but with multiple bookmarks (even half a dozen) the time is absurdly long.
To the point that I can't even understand if he has accepted the command or not, also because there is no visual feedback of the fact that it is working.
In fact, in many cases it does NOT accept the command, not even for a single bookmark to be moved!
Now, I understand that I may even have an "excessive" number of bookmarks, but other add-ons that allow me to move a single bookmark, with drag-and-drop, are still much faster and always work.
Unfortunately, my need (and certainly not mine alone) is above all to have a tool that allows you to do "group" operations on bookmarks and this add-on, which on paper would be what it takes, in practice fails too often the task .
The idea is excellent and responds to a real and great need, but at the moment the implementation is so poor that in my case it is almost unusable.
Too bad, I hope for a next performance improvement (the graphics should also be improved a lot, but in the first place it is the performance that should be fixed). - Rated 5 out of 5by GothicWeasel, 3 years agoworks as advertised and helps keep my bookmarks sorted and easily accessible.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Visual Notes, 3 years agoHighly useful extension for organizing bookmarks, leaves nothing to be desired from my point of view.
My inspection has shown that most of the criticisms expressed in the reviews smaller than 5 stars are not valid as of today (August 2021).
The feature set is huge and all functions are well thought out. Also, some important elements of the appearance can be customized (font size, column widths, etc.). The extension is under active development. Great work! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16844352, 3 years agoExcellent bookmark manager for power users! Lots of features and entirely keyboard-accessible. A favourite feature is also JSON export and import of bookmarks, which I use to selectively transfer bookmark folders between multiple browsers and machines. Great work!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Nijaz Muratović, 4 years agoGives me creeps. Searching for duplicates, then removing them makes me believe I removed both duplicates and original ones and lost data, because even original disappears from duplicates search results. Then later I realize: "oh, it's OK". Also would like automatic bulk duplicates removal instead of having to individually manually remove them.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16674954, 4 years agoThis is exactly I was looking for for years!!! I love the Total Commander which is the first Programm I install on a new computer. I've always been unsatisfied with the Firefox Bookmarks managment and thought "Why doesn't it have two panes where I can shove my bookmarks back and forth??? And now, finally ... By the way, somebody's complaining about not being able to "copy bookmarks from one panel to another". It works with some shortcuts. Just take a look at the bottom or in the description. Thanks to Brian for his great work!!!!!
