- Rated 5 out of 5by Natalie, 2 years agoDoes exactly what it says, only part I'm trying to figure out now is how to make it go to my pictures folder rather than my downloads folder
- Rated 5 out of 5by GianniPapetti, 2 years agoIt's an amazing extenssion, adds a little non intrusive button on the right side of the taskbar that automatically downloads the image displayed. The name of the file can be customized quite nicely, and it's what makes it one of the best, but i just wish there was an actual list of the usable tags

posted 2 years agoThank you for the review. I updated the settings page to display correctly. I didn't realize it got broken at some time. - Rated 4 out of 5by Remiel, 2 years agoIt doesn't seem to work for rule34.xxx anymore. When saving an image the name comes up with underscores "_, _ _" and videos don't download

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16848959, 4 years agoPretty good extension overall, and pleasantly surprised to find one that helps organizing downloads from Boorus while being simple to configure and lightweight, just missing .mp4 and .webm saving.
Edit:
Seems like it does have video downloads, they're just not working for rule34 but they're definitely working on e621 - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16832209, 4 years agoPlease add your support for the sankaku with language selection. Thank you.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Anon, 5 years agoThis is a great add-on, but the support for the e621 redesign isn't quite working yet. The bug is in line 77 of ouroboros.js: the character-tag-list class is no longer defined in the HTML, which causes the whole function to crash when you click the download button. I tested replacing it "character-tag-list" with "species-tag-list" in debug and it now works fine. Thanks for maintaining this!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15369026, 5 years agoIf the copyright tag has a question mark, it doesn't save image (probably Windows fault). Please do something with it.

posted 5 years agoApologies for the late reply. Real life happened.
I can't reproduce the issue. From what site are you trying to download a picture, and what is the copyright name? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12902259, 6 years agoThanks. Looks like a decent webext replacement for https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chickys-booru-style-image-d/
Could you implement several missing things?
1. Ability to save sample image instead of original. In the old extension there was two buttons on page and two context menu items. Context menu seems more suitable in addition to your approach with single button in address bar. Or a special setting so button in address bar always saves image that is shown on page currently (sample or original, if user pressed site's buttons for showing original), if it is easier to implement. For reference, in the old extension two buttons worked especially good on yandere/konachan: by default "Current Image" saves default small sample, if user clicked "View larger version" to show larger sample, then button saves this larger sample, and finally "Original Image" button saves original.
2. Support for more %tokens% for resulting filename. I personally need only %md5% (was %filename% in the old extension) in addition to existing %artist%, %copyright% and %character%. Or just a change for existing %original_filename% behavior: it works as expected for sankaku/gelbooru, but not on danbooru, yandere, konachan. For example, on danbooru it becomes "__character_copyright_drawn_by_artist__a8862be228ddf391d036559aa384a321" instead of "a8862be228ddf391d036559aa384a321" and duplicates information. On yandere it brings only some tags without md5 at all. It is possible to change this behavior in danbooru settings itself, if logged in, but not on yandere and konachan.
With those it would be really great extension for me. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14022874, 7 years agoIf you download a picture without the %copyright% and %character% tag, there is nothing in the downloaded file name. Please make it possible to set "misc" for %copyright% and "unknown" for %character%. An example of such a file: https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/183934

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13454898, 7 years agoPlease add support for chan.sankakucomplex.com, tag support %id%, on/off "_", group with many character. Example: https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/chickys-booru-style-image-d/ (Works on old Firefox).
