- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18755232, 8 days agoGot it because Spotify killed off the block feature when it comes to individual tracks, works great so far. The real test will come when I have blocked more than 3000 songs, I have used the trash bin feature on Spicetify and that could not keep up with the demand I put on it as I am a hoarder of music and listen to tons of it all day, every day, we'll see if a browser extension can do what that couldn't.

- Rated 4 out of 5by kittykatpotat, 9 months agoto be honest, i got this cause spotify won't allow me to remove songs i dislike anymore. i wanted to be able to enjoy my music without worrying about if an artist i can't bear to hear is going to play. the add-on isn't perfect, the song is still in the playlist, but thanks to just a tiny bit of setup, i don't have to hear it, just a song-length silence. i'm sure the other parts of the this work great and i know i'm going to use them later but for just the peace of mind of 'i don't have to hear ____ anymore', i really appreciate this, thanks

posted 8 months agoUpdate: Fix should be live in v1.21.3. Please update to the latest version.
Thanks for the review. I had the same need as well. Ideally, Spotify would make it easy to just remove select songs from a queue (as before), but I am still working on an approach that keeps the queue and the playlist updated with non-blocked tracks, but it's quite difficult, thus the current approach for now.
However, if a track is blocked and it comes up in the queue, then it should be auto-skipped within a split second to the next unblocked track, without having the user listen to silence. Spotify must have changed since the last update and broke this feature somehow. Thanks for identifying this bug. I'll take a look and push up a fix. Thanks for identifying this bug.
Until the fix is released, you can either use global keyboard shortcuts or the popup ui to proceed to the next track. Please bare with me while I get this sorted.
