posted 2 months agoAccording to Google Translate, you wrote that Clippings Manager keeps minimizing itself on Ubuntu.
In Clippings Manager, click Tools on the toolbar and then select Minimize When Inactive to toggle the setting on or off. This setting exists in Linux only and is a workaround for the window always being on top of other Firefox windows. You can opt to turn the setting back on when you need to switch between windows so that it doesn't get in the way.
In an upcoming new version of Clippings, an icon on the Clippings Manager status bar will make it easier to quickly turn the setting on or off in just one click.- Rated 5 out of 5by igorlogius, 3 months ago

- does not search inside content, only title
- go to a category, insert clipping. It is not added into that category but to the bottom of the list requiring drag&drop
- it does not remember last window size, requiring resizing of the window
- after inserting new clipping, the cursor should be in the title field, it is not, requiring Tab key - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14550105, 7 months ago

Unfortunately in the last couple of weeks my clippings have quit working on twitter ("X") The text is placed in the reply field but not recognized as text and unable to submit. Not sure if the problem is with clippings, firefox, or X.

posted 9 months agoThis is an issue with Twitter/X. I was able to reproduce the issue on an older version of Firefox (102.15 ESR).
EDIT: Issue is confirmed with the latest release of Clippings (6.5.2.1). This will be fixed in a minor update. - Rated 5 out of 5by Adam Boulton, a year ago

The extension does not work with WoltLab Suite 6.0.
It is not possible to insert a text module.
For example in this forum:

Can the extension be customized again?
Thank you very much. - Rated 5 out of 5by stijn, a year ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17958366, a year agoIt is a great idea, kudos to the author, I use it daily and it saves me a tons of time. However as a constructive criticism from a fellow developer, I must say that implementations has its bugs and feels as if it was kinda half-assed. There are several obvious small issues:
1. Random spaces or empty lines in clippings are randomly added or removed. There is often an empty line missing or an extra empty line. Mainly happening in gmail on all OS (MAC, WIN10, WIN 11...). Nothing big, but surely author must have encounter this too, it's obvious and easy to reproduce, yet it was not fixed in the last 2 yrs...
2. There is no syncing, only manual/auto backup. When I use 2 firefox on 2 laptops, clippings are not synced. This is a big issue
3. UX looks like from 1997, it could use some polishing :) Ok, this one is just nitpicking, it's not a functional problem, but still :)Developer response
