this extension can delete all of your bookmark names. (no I'm not talking user error, I'm talking about the titles being completely lost, it's not supposed to do this, but it glitched out and the app enabled permanently even though I uninstalled it - Rated 5 out of 5by Max1234-ITA, 8 months agoLIFESAVER!
I've got a LOT of bookmarks in my toolbar, I don't understand why the compact (icon-only) format is not implemented in FF natively.
Thank you so much for this extension! - Rated 1 out of 5by Koiras, 10 months ago

I've always preferred my bookmarks bar as a list of icons to save space, but want to keep the names in the bookmarks menu. Thanks for making it so that I can easily have both and not lose the names altogether.
I'd love to see the ability to exclude folders, but it's not a big issue as the links/subfolders within them keep their names, which is ideal for me.
Let me know if you want a little icon for this that matches Firefox's interface - I'd be happy to help. - Rated 1 out of 5by rediffusion, 2 years agoUnuseful for me.

- Rated 1 out of 5by RouuVr, 4 years agoI've been looking for a replacement for the Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar extension for a long time. This extension comes closest to the Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar, but I don't mind two things:
You cannot change the bookmark spacing. I would need smaller spaces between the icons to see more on the toolbar.
Folders and individual bookmarks do not have names that appear when you hover the mouse. - Rated 2 out of 5by mimteatr, 4 years agoIt doesn't work as promised, once you add a bookmark to the toolbar and you press the button showing names again, pressing the button again doesn't work, it doesn't show icons, it keeps showing names!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13520700, 5 years agoI was looking to replace an old extension that is not working with Quantum anymore: this is it. One issue that I hope will be addressed by the developer in a future release: please make folders and bookmarks names visible only when hovering over them with the cursor. Also, turning the extension on/off erases folder and bookmark names, and they all have to be reentered. Edit: there was apparently a corruption with my Firefox profile. Creating a new one from scratch resulted in the names not being erased when the extension is turned off/on.

Currently, Default Bookmark Folder generates errors, each time a new folder is generated
Improvement:
1. Display folder name, not folder icon. If possible, Add options separately limit the folder name and Book signature length. This eliminates the need to manually modify the length.
2. The mouse hover bookmark immediately displays the book signature name and address without delay.
Demand:
1. The middle mouse button scrolls the bookmark to the left and right, not just folds it up. Benefits: Using both the address bar and the search bar, other extension icons can be placed in the bookmark bar to expand part of the space.
2. Hover folder immediately expand, save time. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15094396, 5 years agoThis is just what I wanted, but its implementation is flawed. Folders and individual bookmarks no longer have names that appear on mouseover. If you add a name in 'Properties' it appears in the toolbar which defeats the purpose.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15056687, 5 years agoI'd given up hope that someone would do this. Thanks so very much. At this point all reviews are 5 star. I hope that continues. I'm not too sharp on these matters so it took me some time to find out how toggle it, obvious though it is.
