    Removes formatting but does NOT remove leading, trailing or multiple spaces.
    It would be nice if the right click link was below the 'Copy' option instead of some apparently random location in the menu.

    In WebExtensions, menu appears at the bottom and it is not not possible to change that. It also removes the leading and trailing spaces and multiple spaces.

    Please don't mark the add-on down for a feature request or support queries.

    Please can you add Copy As Plain Text show under Copy option? Please can you update name Copy Plain Text to Copy As Plain Text?

    Sorry for my previous review where my frustration showed up...
    There is a setting to take care of the long dash which was not a default setting. Couldn't find this earlier.
    Now working perfectly.

    I had an option with Copy Plain Text 2 that allowed me to set the plain text copy as default. Could you add it into this WebExtension?

    EDIT: seems to be limited by WebExtension API... Come on Mozilla!

    As you have noticed, WebExtension API does not allow it at the moment. Once there is such an API, I will add the feature. I added a keyboard shortcut (F7) to ease the operation.

    Glad I stumbled onto this add-on! Seems to work properly in all the text copy situations I've come across so far. All the other "Copy Plain Text" add-ons seem to have been broken by multiprocess.

    This works perfectly. A bug in Copy Plain Text 2 caused Firefox to lock up completely whenever I accidentally used the Control-C shortcut. Glad to have found this.
