posted 7 years agoThis is a new issue in Firefox 60; I fixed the issue in 1.6.4 (https://github.com/Rob--W/crxviewer/issues/58). - Rated 5 out of 5by miksid, 7 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14030533, 7 years agoThis is exactly what I needed! I wanted to copy an extension and modify it for my own use but I could not figure it out. Now I can read the code myself and pull out exactly what I need.

What I would like instead is a "view source" item in the right-click menu, and no icon. (I have too many icons already!)
Does the job though!Developer response

That is already possible - right-click on the CRX button and choose "Hide this button".
If you regret your action and want to show it again, go to about:addons, Extensions, and click on Preferences of the extension. Then tick the checkbox with the label "Show a page action button in the location bar of extension installation pages.". - Rated 5 out of 5by Marek, 7 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by ReActif, 7 years agoPermet de controler ce que fait une extension vu que maintenant il y a plus de controle et que pas mal de fausses extensions se font passer pour des choses connus (ex: Adblock dont un faux est disponible sous un nom de dev AdbIock (le L est en fait un i Maj) bref, grace a CRX, ca permet de vraiment pas se faire avoir.

- Rated 5 out of 5by cleverusername, 7 years agoPretty awesome addon. It's so much more convenient to just view the source files in the browser than to download the .xpi, unzip it, and go in and out of folders to find things. This addon saves me a lot of time and annoyance.
I saw on GitHub that an option is being considered to make clicking the icon take you directly to the source viewer, which would make this addon even more awesome. :D
EDIT: I just updated and it works great, thank you!Developer response
posted 7 years agoI have just published an update to offer the ability to open the viewer upon clicking the button.
Open the context menu on the extension button (right-click) to change this "Primary action on click" option. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12727349, 7 years ago
