- Rated 5 out of 5by Basher, 8 months agoThis addon is really good, Hopefully I could predict that a star rating system swap toggle so you would do star ratings instead of a like to dislike ratio would be added one of the updates. :)

- Rated 5 out of 5by Haloway, 9 months agoWorks wonders. However, now youtube has added a new thing where it swaps the position of recommended videos and comments. It's very annoying! If you could update this addon to fix that, it would be really really great!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Azure Greatheart, 9 months agoI got this because Youtube broke the video player for me, and while it fixes the issue I got it for (along with several extra features), the player does not display the thumbnail for videos that do not autoplay (i.e. when a video is opened in a new tab, or when the page is refreshed). I know thumbnails are primarily made to entice people to click on a video, but having a video that did not autoplay default to the frame of the video I was on instead of the thumbnail is really dull. The odd thing is that thumbnails ARE displayed on the glitched pages that have this add-on partially installed, which were open when I installed this add-on. Anyway, an option to display thumbnails on the video player itself would be nice.

- Rated 4 out of 5by bobbery, 10 months agoI love this extension. I use 2009 youtube, like 24/7 now. I just have some issues with the 2009 layout.
1. FIXED
2. Id like to at least play around with the star ratings, I know theyre not available anymore but it would be really cool if 5 stars was programmed to equal a like for YouTube and 1 star a dislike for YouTube. IK this is probably not possible but itd be really cool.
3. The autoplay button glitches the playbar layout. It just doesnt belong in 2009 YouTube, so itd be nice if it was removable
Overall, thats it. I love this extension very much! - Rated 5 out of 5by _-, a year ago

posted a year agoTheater mode is not supported on layouts before 2014 (this is due to how the page was structured back then). It says this on the config window.- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18109546, a year agoThis extension is actually pretty great! I would like to see the late 2008/early 2009 layout sometime later in the future.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 11848152, a year agogetting questions Marks for views on Live streams but finished videos show ok.. also the sub count can be very dark depending on dark theme.. maybe a option to alter the text color would be a handy option..
- Rated 1 out of 5by Luc, a year agoThere is no option at all. And I took a moment to try to get anything.
I only get a squared video player, but the video itself is still rounded. There are just black pixels added to make the video squared.
Answer: I cannot "set the layout to anything else" because, as I said, I have NO OPTION AT ALL. Nothing to configure the extension.Developer response
posted a year agoYou must have the layout set to "Disabled", where the video player is not supposed to be squared (the black pixels around the player is actually a bug, the whole thing is supposed to remain rounded). Try setting the layout to anything else (2021 is the closest to the current layout), and the video should be squared.
Edit: To change settings, pin the extension to the toolbar, then click on the icon to make the config window pop up. Here's how you do that: https://imgur.com/a/IIxddDa - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14532424, a year ago10/10 hope youtube funds this project as you work better than their entire team, thanks for making this!
- Rated 5 out of 5by megakarlach, a year agoIt just works. Almost perfect, despite there are few issues and limitations but works great.
10/10.
Also F Google/YT for previously killing the proper old layout that does not requires extensions to run on top of the new, slow and bloated UI.
