- Rated 4 out of 5by PreferWaterFox-Palemoon, 2 years agoWorks as advertised. Thanks! :) A shame this functionality isn't built-in...anymore (?). My only disappointments (possibly outside the author's control) are that I'd also like the window to pop open automatically when a download begins and close automatically when all downloads end. An option for "Pop to front" on new downloads if the window is already open would round out the features. But something is always better than nothing.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12154843, 2 years agoAll good, the dev explained that the addon can only remove the downloads history created after its installation (due to API limitations). Also, he's working on a possible solution.
Old review:
Sadly, it doesn't work on Firefox 108. I set the removal delay, but nothing happens.Developer response
posted 2 years agoHi, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with the extension. Please open an issue on GitHub or contact me using the support mail address indicated on the add-on page so I can help you. Include details about your environment (FF version, operating system etc) so I can try and identify the issue. - Rated 5 out of 5by Schyler, 2 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Karpan Koroviziniek, 2 years agoIt does exactly what it says it does, and you can either have the history entry deleted as soon as you finish the download, or set the number of minutes for the deletion after the download is completed. Very convenient, simple but practical add-on.
- Rated 5 out of 5by miro, 3 years agoVery useful to remove downloaded files from list when they finish. Idk why I'd want a list of downloaded files when I can just open the folder. The purpose of a manager is to manage downloads in progress / errors.

posted 5 years agoHi, thank you for reporting this. It appears there is a bug in the Firefox 70 API. // It’s better to use GitHub or mails to report issues. While I receive notification mails when reviews are posted, these mails don’t contain the text.- Rated 5 out of 5by DigDeep, 5 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13667011, 6 years agoThere is a bug with downloads icon if it is dragged to toolbar AND removed autohide from it. After all downloads are automatically cleared by Downloader Cleaner Lite - download icon stays blue! (arrow and line under it) :( It should be gray automatically right after Downloader Cleaner Lite did it's job, it's not logical for icon to display as blue because list is empty in that moment. Makes user think Downloader Cleaner Lite did nothing.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Termie , 6 years agoone of these tiny AddOn's which make the daily browser routine more comfortable. While my beloved older Firefox ESR erased my download history reliable automatically, this odd Quantum version didn't it anymore - now again, thanxx to this useful AddOn.
- Rated 5 out of 5by recycler.fox, 7 years agoPerfect. Actually, I'm glad it keeps history for a minute or more, because sometimes on some sites happens 'accidental' downloads, so this delay allows to check "what the hell was that".
- Rated 5 out of 5by Dypsis, 7 years agoThanks for this. I have no use to keep a list of completed downloads. Instant removal would be good, but I see that it is not possible.
- Rated 5 out of 5by hyperstriker, 7 years agoIt does what it says it do, but user should be able to set interval based on seconds and not lock for minutes or/and instantly by a check box, like other past version...

posted 7 years agoThanks for the review! I very much agree with you. However, the “alarms” API does not allow a delay of less than one minute. So this isn’t possible. Sorry! - Rated 5 out of 5by Adi, 7 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by mecki78, 7 years agoDoes what it claims to do and works as expected, so there's no reason not to rate it 5 stars.
