- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13815676, 7 years agoI find this addon pretty useful. Do you have a github page where issues can be tracked?
I noticed an error in the manifest.json file, line 31. You have a comment (some code starting with '//', but comments are not supported in json format and I'm getting an error when I try to use a script to install your addon) Thanks.Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13440303, 7 years agoLast update broke my router's administration panel. :(
It doesn't load side menu.
But works fine, when this plugin disabled.
Also broke https://rsdn.org/forum/asm : click on [+] doesn't load thread. But works fine without plugin.
[17-03-2018] And v3.1.2 fixed the issue. Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by feesgo, 7 years agoGreat job Akira! Thank you very much!
This add on works like image like opera
I was using an old Firefox version only to work with image like opera, but EASY IMAGE BLOCKER works in new Firefox version - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13540782, 7 years agoIn general good, but truly breaks some pages.
Mega.nz cannot initiate download. Took me a while to figure out.
(Someone wrote somewhere that the new FF does not support APIs used by mega. But it is not true, it was just this plugin freezing mega.) - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13721844, 7 years agoOkay. I got this program recently. Generally 99% of images are gone (thats the good part).
Some info:
for both FF57, and FF58.
I use Windows 10 home i think.
Laptop i5-7200U
Problem basically switching modes from on and off, whitelisting, etc does not work most of the time. (rarely it does).
A few websites include: chess websites, image hosting websites, and others.
Would like this to be fixed or suggestions... - Rated 3 out of 5by Mik, 7 years agoUsefull, but breakes functionality on some sites. By example, with addon don't work payments in Yandex Money (button Pay dont work).
2) "Reload page when load image" doesn't reload automatically.
FF 52.5.3 ESR win 32.
Please fix problems.Developer response

I have fixed the Bug 2) in the ver. 3.1.0. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13696103, 7 years agoThis addon interfere with some sites and corrupt their functional. - Rated 5 out of 5by Isumairu, 7 years agoWork on my Firefox 57.0.1 x64 Windows 10.
This extension does the job of 'ImageBlock' Add-on and Google Chrome's per-site permission settings (for images).
Learn to use it slowly. This is a great Add-on but the UI can be confusing.
For dev, I suggest to:
1. Put the white & black list in the separate option page.
2. Make separate switch (to block / load images) for global (all sites) and the currently opened site*.
* then automatically added to white & black list.
** or you can put per-domain setting in the domain list and make the switch in toolbar icon only for global setting.
Thank you. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13498412, 7 years ago他のimage blockアドオンがff57(win10)で動作せず流れてきました。
[a.example,b.example,c.example,d.example],["3","0","1","1","2"]]
Developer response

Does not it work at all?- Rated 4 out of 5by L, 7 years agoDoesn't work with sites using srcset attribute
If a site uses srcset, such as http://xkcd.com, then the images will still load regardless
To fix this, types:["image"] should be changed to types:["image","imageset"]. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13387523, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Hugo Florentino, 7 years agoI liked this extension, I was missing something like ImgLikeOpera for Quantum, this is quite similar.
There are some minor problems in the options page with the drop-down list for mode selection when the page is not at the beginning.
By the way, the localization is still reduced, so I would like to contribute with strings for Spanish, which I have already translated for my own use. Also, "None", "ALT String" and "[block]" should be localized as well. - Rated 3 out of 5by 4Ever, 7 years agoI've been looking for a simple image blocker compatible with Firefox 57+ beta and found this.
Features: Can block all images, has a whitelist, can Import/Export whitelist, placeholder options (None and ALT String), each tab can have a mode independently, take over mode from current tab (new tab will have same mode as current tab), hide context menu extension.
Verdict: It can be a simple image blocker for beginners, and has options for advanced users.
EDIT: After a couple more hours of browsing, I've noticed it doesn't block images on some sites even with block all sites enabled (best example: Wikipedia). To the dev: Any particular reason, or is this a problem on my end? I haven't made any changes in settings.
Also, it blocks social media buttons on some sites, but not all of them (e.g.: I can't see the Like button on Twitter, but Reply and Retweet are visible). This could use a fix.
ALSO also, it doesn't remember my choice, it seems. After I'm done browsing, I unblock images & close Firefox. But when I open it again, the option to block all images remains enabled. I thought this was a great add-on, but now I'm starting to doubt. - Rated 5 out of 5by no_er, 7 years ago
