Great app, have used for many years, perfect for small or large downloads. Very easy to use. Lots of options for choice such as MP3, 720 and full HD plus others. Big thanks to the team who create this!

Dishita has really let a-lot of people down who have stood by him during those times when YT threw a monkey wrench into the works which broke the add-on. And now he in effect is saying tough xxxx and you should donate and/or buy the Pro version which isn't working either. He's really screwed the pooch on this and wants to monetize it and FF is letting him get away with it by just looking the other way as he rips people off. Is he 52 cards short of a full deck or what??? Beware the shills who post 5 star reviews of the add-on knowing full well it doesn't work. To you Dishita I have only thiis to say: Fix your add-on or remove it entirely and find another way to monetize it. You're really pissing a-lot of people off and for what??? You need to pull your head out of your xxx!

Does anyone know if and when the Easy Youtube Video Downloader FREE Version (360p and 720p) is going to be upgraded from the version 19.1 (April 2024). It has been out of action for over a month!!

I've been using this extension in past few years to download videos from YouTube. It is easier to use comparing to other extensions.

Unfortunately, it stopped working not too long ago due the tight restriction implemented by Google. I then upgraded to desktop app version with some support to the developer because I really like to continue to use this app.

After downloaded the app, I found out that some downloads worked with the third-party app that I use (for music slowdown and looping purpose) but some did not play video, although they were all played with Windows Media Player. I then contacted Dishita by email and he immediately responded with instruction and technical explanations. After following his suggestion, all those problems were fixed and I can enjoy the videos via the third-party app again.

I've read some one-star comments and suggest all users to contact the developer for solution before putting out negative comments. After all, this is by far the best video downloader I've used and the support from Dishita is great.

Thank you Dishita, looking forward to tighter integration beyond v0.6.0 beta version.

This is a review of the Easy downloader Express Desktop app released in October 2024.
The tested version was 0.5 beta. Tested on Window 10 and 11 and Linux Ubuntu 22.04.

This application is an excellent video downloader working exceptionally well on Youtube, dailymotion and a range of other sites including many offering adult content.

When initially downloading the desk-top app it is important read and follow any initial instructions presented... when installing allow the app to finish downloading required components (ffmpeg, ffprobe).
When installed the Windows version will put an icon on the desktop for immediate easy of launching, making everything very simple and straightforward. The Linux version downloads with an .Appimage extension and you may have to learn more about installing this extension for your version of Linux. I had to right click on the file go to properties and enable execute as a program It still didn't run and and required installation of an additional FUSE library to prompt installation.

The interface is simple and intuitive. There are options for Video or audio only download, multiple frame rates/sizes for speed of download and mp4/ mov file types options. Using it on youtube is generally trouble-free, on other sites simply do a test download, it will either function or give you an error message. If it appears to download and throws up an error near the end of the process check your downloads folder it may well be there OK.
Many other downloaders are having difficulties at the moment either failing or restricted on length of downloads. This desktop app has no obvious limitations and is proving well worth the modest cost. Do not be fooled by critical reviews below this one suggesting there are easier alternatives most of them do not work. The desk top app is... Highly recommended.

Webには無料でYoutubeの動画を1080pや1440pの高画質でウォーターマークも無しでダウンロードできるサイトが現在まだあります。
サイトが混んでしまうのは嫌なので、
そのサイトが何処にあるかは教えませんが、
探せばきっと見つかります。

私はこの作者に寄付をしたばかりですが、
このアドオンを使う事を諦めて、
大人しくWebサイトのYoutubeダウンロードツールに移行しようと思います。

This add-on is currently not functional.

There are still sites on the web today where you can download Youtube videos for free in 1080p or 1440p high quality with no watermark.
We don't want the site to be crowded,
I will not tell you where the site is located,
But I am sure you can find it if you look.

I just made a donation to the author,
Give up using this add-on,
I'm going to move on to a website youtube download tool.

Dishita, every time it changes proxies,
Youtube seems to be detecting and blocking it.

Until Dishita changes proxies again,
This add-on can't access Youtube until Dishita changes proxies again,
But if you change proxies patiently, it is very likely to be blocked again

Conclusion.

If you make a donation, as of July 2024, all features are immediately available.
However, while the author claims that "donations can be made only once,
repeated donations are requested.
After a certain period of use,
After a certain period of use, the functionality may be discontinued at the author's discretion.
In fact, many people who donated over a year ago have had their functionality deactivated.
Even if they were stripped of the PRO version,
You can have your login reinstated by making a repeat donation each time.
In other words, this add-on should be considered like a subscribe with an unknown expiration date.

寄付をすれば、2024年7月現在、全ての機能がすぐに使えます。
ただし、作者は「寄付は一度きりで良い」と謳いながら、
繰り返しの寄付を要求します。
ある程度の使用期間を過ぎた後、
作者の判断で機能は停止させられる可能性があります。
実際に1年以上前に寄付を行った人の多くは機能を停止させられています。
PROバージョンを剥奪されても、
そのつど繰り返し寄付する事でログインが復活します。
つまり、このアドオンは有効期間が不明のサブスクのようなものと考えるべきです。

DOES NOT WORK. And requiring a paid subscription just to download at 1080 is insane. You can use plenty of other sites or just Jdownloader to download at 4K or even higher. And that's free.

Used to be a great extension for years, but stopped working permanently due to YouTube blocking its proxies. The maker cannot fix it, and is working on an app the you have to pay $30,-/year for :-(
I do not understand that people say the PRO version is working

I have always had great luck with this extension and have been very pleased in the past. This extension has not worked in over a month now; I upgraded to pro to financially support this extension but the pro upgrade isn't allowing me to download anything either. I hope that the developer shares more information or finds a fix soon - the latest info from the developer on this issue is dated 10/10/24...

I think it was a very good add on, I paid for it and even made an additional donation. I used it often. Sadly, it has stopped working.
