Used to be a great extension for years, but stopped working permanently due to YouTube blocking its proxies. The maker cannot fix it, and is working on an app the you have to pay $30,-/year for :-(
I do not understand that people say the PRO version is working

I have always had great luck with this extension and have been very pleased in the past. This extension has not worked in over a month now; I upgraded to pro to financially support this extension but the pro upgrade isn't allowing me to download anything either. I hope that the developer shares more information or finds a fix soon - the latest info from the developer on this issue is dated 10/10/24...

I think it was a very good add on, I paid for it and even made an additional donation. I used it often. Sadly, it has stopped working.

Dogcrap addon that promises to be free but leaves a big qr code unless you give them money.

This used to work great. Now it's a bait-and-switch: Buy the pro upgrade only to find it doesn't work either, and you just paid for an *AD* to buy their standalone software.

Absolutely the best and the newest version makes it so great. Great support as well. I'm 100% satisfied and it's just so easy.

Bait and switch: you cannot download anything without upgrading to PRO.
I understand that they need resources, but be honest in the add-on description!

Works beutifully, just as long as you NEVER try to DOWNLOAD any video from Youtube, where its perfectly legal nationalistically.

this add-on is really bad it sometimes work and other time does not work. I advise you don't use this add on !

Upgraded to the pro desktop version which works better than I expected. Am able to select the download quality as well as the video codec. The PRO desktop app is definitely worth the purchase.

First it tries to scam you into paying to get higher quality videos and then it just doesn't work at all.

Used to love this. Pro user. Now it won't download anyting. :/
