I know that it's working because when I hold ctrl+scroll it changes the video speed, but I can't see the value being changed. There is also the recent conflict with SponsorBlock, it's like 30/70% on weather or not sponsor block actually works. At least the sponsor segment is still highlighted in the timeline so skipping past it manually is easy.
Another thing, in the past when I'd set the video speed, usually to 2.5x or 3x, it would persist between videos in the same tab, but now it resets every single video which is rather annoying. - Rated 4 out of 5by marijn211, a day agoNow seems to conflict with sponsorblock, speed slider no longer works

- Rated 3 out of 5by Bobby, 2 days agoThere is a conflict with this extension and SponsorBlock.
I've reverted to an older version of this extension just so SponsorBlock works again. - Rated 1 out of 5by Malo Lesbros-Duvauchelle, 2 days ago

but i want one thing to fix
video filter is useful option, but always showing filter controller is annoying on screen
make option to hide video filter controller please.. - Rated 1 out of 5by Darksider, 3 days agoI used to use this plugin to play my videos at specific speed without it changing back to 1x. But now after some dumb update it stopped doing it. Atleast add an option to override or remove it without removing speeds that are higher than 2x. My disappointment is immesuarable and my day is ruined.
- Rated 5 out of 5by nelsonhef, 3 days agoA must have for YouTube, unfortunately in the latest 2.0.128 the option to disable WebM/VP9 codecs and force H.264 stopped working. Until an update can fix this i had to go back to enhanced-h264ify
- Rated 1 out of 5by mtugglet, 4 days agoPlease create a way to override or turn off the Default Speed setting. If I am listening to music, I want it at 1 times speed, but if I am on my watch later queue I want it on 2 times speed or more. I am really disliking having to change the speed of every video, or having to constantly go into setting to change the default speed. I liked it when each playlist would automatically play each video at the same speed as the last one was set to.
- Rated 1 out of 5by PSYCOMMUnist, 4 days agoYouTube streams are busted as others have said and either stutter like crazy or often end the stream prematurely while it's still going. Chat still works no matter what but the actual video itself no matter who the streamer is extremely unreliable and is fixed instantly by turning off the extension. Please fix as base YouTube sucks without this extension.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13662487, 4 days agoEdit: Thanks for rolling back the update! Reinstalled the extension to 2.0.126.1 and working normally now.
Version 2.0.128 causes video to automatically pause when in the background (switching to another tab, switching to another program, etc)
Please fix, or add an option to enable/disable this behaviour. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17275815, 4 days agoWas working great for a very long time, now it's completely nonfunctional. Will update the review if this ever gets fixed, but as of right now it's completely broken and does nothing.
Edit 12 hours later: Now it's working fine, IDK if this was something on my end or what because I don't think this updated but now it's working great again. Good extension, very helpful. - Rated 1 out of 5by flagstones, 5 days agoVersion .128 - the playback speed does not maintain its setting in the same tab - eg. while viewing the "watch later", or a playlist. On the next video, it resets itself back to the default speed in the options, which is not how it worked in version .126.
The default speed should only be used on a new tab/window.
I am giving 1 star to get the dev's attention on this regression. - Rated 2 out of 5by Kougeru, 5 days agoOverall great but as of Nov 14 there's been a bug with this causing videos/streams to just STOP playing. Not pause, stop. I have to refresh the entire page to make them work again. It works fine on chrome and for firefox I narrowed it down to this extension - everything is fine once I disable this.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13793995, 5 days agoIt is better now, but not working in all YouTube tabs... IDK why, but I use Firefox Nightly, maybe that was not tested in this Browser. So please include Nightly in compatibility list.
