- Rated 2 out of 5by davidguy207, 21 days agoRandomly breaks. It's fixed in 3.0 but for some reason it's not on firefox.
The extension is good, but sadly not on the 3.0 version, which adds some QOL settings. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18818669, a month agoThe auto play doesn't exactly stop it from playing, it keeps it from playing for about 30 seconds and then launches into the ad or the program. even behind other you tubes already playing.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12781398, 2 months agoIts good when it works, but after watching 2-3 vids, the addon stops working until i restart firefox again.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16569101, 3 months agoPlease update the extension. The chrome version is newer and works with ambient. Firefox does not.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Dark Thoughts, 3 months agoUnfortunately this addon fails reliably on a daily basis for me. It's noticeable in that Shorts often still show up, but it also sometimes does not load properly (I once even had massive icons in the background below the video) or at all (no icons, no custom colors, etc), or it causes massive CPU hog on open YT tabs which also makes any YT function act on a several second delay (even just pausing / unpausing or going fullscreen). Sometimes it helps to completely re-open a new YT tab and close the old one but that's all just temporary until things go south again shortly after.

Old Review: Its perfect. can you please option to hide buttons and timeline? i don't want to see timeline and options when i pause and seek the video. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13679851, 4 months agoHa funcionado muy bien durante mucho tiempo, pero desde hace unas semanas apenas funciona en una de cada veinte páginas.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14433079, 4 months agoThe only feature I'm really using anymore is the playback speed and that is now miss more than hit.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Kougeru, 4 months agoOverall great but as of Nov 14 there's been a bug with this causing videos/streams to just STOP playing. Not pause, stop. I have to refresh the entire page to make them work again. It works fine on chrome and for firefox I narrowed it down to this extension - everything is fine once I disable this.
- Rated 2 out of 5by madcaker, 4 months agoLove the extension, but it recently seems to have completely broken. It's probably related to youtube changes, as even UBO has been struggling to block ads. I consider this pretty much essential for watching youtube now, and it always sucks when it breaks like this.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Dr.Frequency, 4 months agoVersion 2.0.128 does not block Ads anymore.
The one I have installed on my Firefox browser also keeps randomly "pausing" the video playback and I have to click on Play once and over again - Rated 2 out of 5by gane, 4 months agoThe “Enhancer for YouTube” does not work for my main Google account only.
Sub and spare accounts seem to work 100% of the time.
メインで使用しているGoogleアカウントだけ "Enhancer for YouTube"が動作しません。
サブと予備のアカウントでは100%動作しているようです。 - Rated 2 out of 5by MS-DOS, 4 months agoMoves the live stream chat below the video in theater mode, can't fix without disabling the add-on
- Rated 2 out of 5by luisizan, 5 months agoEmpezó bien, pero hace unas semanas que no funciona. Firefox 131.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Stinkehund, 5 months agoWhen it decides to work, it's marginally helpful. However, most of the time no controls show up and it's nonfunctional (reinstalled, cleared cache, did all the usual troubleshooting). Not worth keeping around on the off chance that it'll do what it's supposed to do on a given day.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18603001, 6 months agoCute... Still missing two most imperative function. Download and adRIP! Blocking is too gentle now they started gear up saying "you mf gonna watch a 4m ad for a 20s clip". Well, i hope you pack your lunch cause you're gonna get hit hard. So yeah, it's ripping time!

- Rated 2 out of 5by VanguardLH, 7 months agoUsed to block ads at Youtube. Removed in v2.0.22. Author said "To comply with Youtube's Adblock Policy, I had to remove all the Ads Management related features." What add-on author has to comply with any Google policy? Google isn't hosting the add-on download. What if Google declared the volume could not be controlled or set to an initial volume level, or display a pop-up player when scrolling through comments, or any of the other options in this add-on? Removing ads that interfered with viewing a video was my primary reason to use this add-on, but that's now gone. Ads blocked were interlaced in the video, not shown elsewhere on the web page outside the video (which an adblocker add-on will handle). I'm reviewing the other settings in this add-on to determine if there is any reason to keep it anymore.
Author's web site says "Please don't send feature requests" to his e-mail, and the Support Email link here is to the same address, so have to post them here as a review.
Feature request for 2 additional options:
- Default video type: All, Shorts, Videos, Unwatched, Watched, Recently uploaded, and Live. Shorts are garbage created usually on smartphones. All is the default which includes Shorts. Would prefer Videos since those are why I visit Youtube.
- Default CC = off. Too many videos have closed captions which I don't need. I have to keep clicking the CC button to get rid of that noise. - Rated 2 out of 5by Cronoo, 7 months agoThe addon was working great but as of the last month there's a bug where when you watch a video it will scroll down to the description on its own.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14366081, 7 months agoScroll Bug when automatically opening description still not fixed.
