https://github.com/pulse0ne/eq8/issues/15 - Rated 4 out of 5by ON3I11, 4 years agoOnly reason I am not rating 5 stars is because it does not seem to work with SoundCloud :( Otherwise it is the most beautiful and functional EQ extension there is for Firefox. Did I mention it's the only one that is fully parametric?
- Rated 5 out of 5by FotoFisher, 4 years agoParametric EQ gives you COMPLETE control over 1) the spectrum of 20Hz to 20KHz, the range the human ear can hear, and 2) the range that your speakers or headphones can reproduce sound. Other fixed-band EQs plugins limit the frequencies per slider which equals less control. EQ8 is the only way to go to fine tune the audible spectrum. I only wish it had maybe 10-12 parametric points versus 8. (I am not affiliated or paid to say any of this - it's just my 2 cents).

Does work on Youtube. - Rated 4 out of 5by FLB100, 4 years agoThis eq is AMAZING. Simple to use with a nice, clean interface. My only quarrels are, It doesn't work on Soundcloud and it breaks Bandcamp.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Niccolo Gaspari, 5 years agoHi there, amazing add-on. I just found a bug maybe, even when the add-on is not active doesn't let me play music from bandcamp. I removed then add-on and Bandcamp is working fine now, any idea on why that happens? Big up by the way, awesome project
- Rated 3 out of 5by Aaron Fooshée, 5 years agoJust what I was searching for (a parametric equalizer like EARS for Chrome), but unfortunately, this plugin doesn't work at the same time as other audio manipulating plugins like Video Speed Controller—something that I use everyday. So, I'll be disabling this plugin for now, but I'll be checking back soon because I'm hoping the kinks are worked out in later builds!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13885170, 5 years agoI can confirm that - what you suggested to the other user above - I had to refresh (I did actually restart Firefox) to make it work.
So once it works its a BRILLIANT helper! Thanks loads. Next upgrade could also include a compressor/limiter and a de-hummer (for all this bad audio quality conference talks, you know)
Anyway: VERY GOOD JOB, mate!

edit: after testing for some weeks, I just donated you some bucks. Great work. Dont want to miss it. Keep it up! ;-) - Rated 5 out of 5by Cuban Pete, 5 years agoAwesome. I've been looking such an equalizer for a long time. Much more effective than all those fixed center frequency ones. Works flawlessly on OsX and firefox. Keep up the great work ! One suggestion - could you add the functionality that once set in a browser the output chosen could be mapped the audio output of the machine permanently? Even when the browser is not open and that all audio apps would have the same eq treatment? Thanks a million, Pete

posted 5 years agoHi Mamacita,
I have noticed that if you install the plugin while a video/song is playing, it's unresponsive until you refresh the page. I'd also recommend that you ensure you have the 0.0.2 version, as it fixes a bug that could prevent it from working correctly.
I'd love to help you get this working. If you'd be willing to try the above suggestions, you may have a better experience!
Let me know if I can help at all.
Thanks,
Tyler S.
