- Rated 5 out of 5by Ernie, 7 years agoIt's great. Finally I can see my messages without annoying ads.
Thanks to the maker(s) of this great add-on... I love it :)
Developer response

I placed a couple of orders on other sites (I think they use the Shopify platform) and the shop owner knew my FB profile (I don't use my real name). I don't ever link FB with anything and I even use a different email addr for my FB account. I don't know how my info is being 'shared'. Would this add-on stop this from happening? I'm already using a FB Disconnect add-on and it hasn't stopped it.Developer response
posted 8 years agoNo, this addon will not directly affect anything outside of FB. It is primarily designed to prevent FB from knowing what links and videos you interact with in your feed. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 65715, 8 years agoIn Facebook, I've this message when Facebook Tracking Removal 1.3.5 is activated "Video format or MIME type is not supported". TIA for a solution. Without this problem, 5 stars.

posted 8 years agoI'm aware of the problem and its cause, but haven't had the time to work out a solution yet. You can fix the issue without removing the plugin by disabling the video setting in the options.
In case you're interested, the issue has to do with Facebook recently starting to use blob URLs in certain videos.
