by Firefox user 18056723, a year agoVery nice addon! Thanks a lot. I used it to change the favicons of my pinned Nextcloud taps. I downloaded the favicon.ico for nextcloud calendar from github - and used the following URL-pattern: https://nextcloud..../apps/calendar/* I just drag and dropped the downloaded *.ico file to the small window when asked. :-)

i have the same webapp on two diferent servers an it works perfect for me.
but.. i cant find a "buy-a-coffee-button" - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15469623, 4 months agono star option? Could not get to function at all. Telling note from dev " so if you've bookmarked the page before, this extension won't be able to change it. " Huh?? then why bother? Moot, since it doesn't work even on a new bookmark.

- Rated 5 out of 5by kailinu, a year agoI have many Google Documents pinned in my browser and all their icons are the same non-descript, beside saying it's a Google document. Since I've installed this add-on, I have a different favicon for each of the document I have pinned. Productivity: increased. Mission: accomplished.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Herman Blume, a year agoTried multiple times to get this to cooperate with bookmarks, which is all I need an extension like this for. No dice. Tried with multiple sites that have never been bookmarked, real ones, fake ones, etc.
This isn't really on the dev, it's Mozilla's adamant refusal to allow users to modify icons that's at fault. - Rated 5 out of 5by Rob Easton, a year agoInstalled 5 minutes ago, couldn't be happier, easy to install, and fun. But also useful, I had two icons for new tabs that I visit daily for work, I was able to change Jetstream to a SOQL icon as I use it for Salesforce and I changed Trello to their own, obvious, Trello icon. Recently switched to firefox for primary work and these kinds of extensions are helping make the switch even better.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18021095, a year agoSome time after a website is loaded, the custom icon will be displayed. However, when firefox is closed, it does not work anymore.

- Rated 1 out of 5by bulldogpunch, a year agoIt does change the icon of any tab with the target URL, however it doesn't change the bookmark icon. Which is what I wanted. If this extension had worked in the past, it seems it no longer works now. Bummer.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 10326646, 2 years agoIf this app doesn't work on Bookmarks, just where does this thing have any utility? Useless.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12794095, 2 years agoWith the help of this add-on, the new icons will only appear on the tabs. Unfortunately, exactly where it would be desirable, namely in the bookmarks menu or on the bookmarks toolbar, the old icons still appear.
- Rated 1 out of 5by t3pfaffe, 2 years agoNo longer changes the favicons for the bookmark menu. All of my changed favicons have reverted back to their originals in the bookmarks toolbar.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Pablo Vieira, 2 years agoIt won't change my bookmarks favicon. What is a "URL pattern"? The URL itself definitely doesn't work. EDIT: If the extension might not work with bookmarks favicons, what's the purpose? Where is it supposed to work then?
