- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13474972, 7 years agoThanx, good stuff.
I have 3 questions:
Is it possible to select several tabs by CTRL + CLICK or by SHIFT+CLICK (for continued range) ?
Is it possible to move the sub-menu links directly in menu? It makes many clicks indeed.
Could the little Foxy be less sad ? :)Developer response
posted 7 years agoSelecting multiple tabs is not possible in Firefox.
WebExtension API does not allow moving submenus out of it parent menu item. Only one entry is allowed for each add-on.
If someone makes happy Foxy, I will be happy to use it. :)
Please don't mark the add-on down for a feature request or support queries.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13464711, 7 years agoThis is awesome, but unfortunately too many clicks needed right now, i wish i could move out sort & close duplicates from the "foxytab" folder to the root. And could you please add customizable shortcuts for each feature? (close duplicate tabs, sort,.. etc) that would be epic.
Also another feature request:
only close duplicated tabs from currently selected tab (not global duplicates)
thanks ! keep up the good work.
* Edit: okay, but how about shortcuts?Developer response
posted 7 years agoIn FoxyTab you can disable or move menu items within the parent menu but WebExtension does not allow moving items out of FoxyTab to the root of the Tab menu.

Is it possible to keep pinned tabs open when you try to "close tabs to the left"?Developer response
posted 7 years agoIt is possible and if there is a popular demand, I will add the option. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13460423, 7 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Mrrrr, 7 years agoThank you for adapting advanced tab tools to the new version of Firefox. If I may ask for a feature, could you please add an option to lock tabs from closing when double clicking them? I think it would be very useful to lock tabs that you don't want to close, for example because you are posting on a forum and if you accidentally close the tab you would lose your post content. This is a feature that exists in the Tab Mix Plus addon which doesn't work on the new Quantum.
Could you please add this feature? Thanks!Developer response
posted 7 years agoI don't think the possibility is available in WebExtension API but if they become available, I can add them. - Rated 5 out of 5by quboboo, 7 years agoThanks for excellent add-on! Only thing missing is the option "Copy All Tab's Title". Is it possible to add?:)

THX! I really need this functionality, and I'm looking forward to it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Andrew, 7 years agoThanks for excellent add-on! Only thing missing is the option "Close Tabs to the Right". Is it possible to add?
Upd. (to erosman):
That's right! I'm sorry. I don't know why I didn't see it. :)Developer response
posted 7 years ago"Close Tabs to the Right" is already provided by the Firefox in the Tab contextMenu. There is no point in duplicating it. :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Shahrzaad Parekh, 7 years agoA very well designed and reasonably intuitive extension. Adds a lot of features for users who prefer or need more options to organize their tabs as well as save time and a few clicks. A good deal of customization for the appearance and order of features in the menu are available too.
I recommend users read the Help section within the options to get a full overview and idea about what each option does.
In terms of feature improvements, one hopes this would implement many of the features of its erstwhile competitors like TabMixPlus such as session management, multi-row tabs as well as a dropdown for recently closed tabs (that can be re-opened). However, much of these are dependent on now unavailable APIs and methods used in previous versions of Firefox.Developer response
posted 7 years agoAs you have mentioned, those options are not yet possible with WebExtension API but will be added once they become available. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12889199, 7 years agoThe add-on includes a lot of helpful options, most of which you can deactivate if you feel you won't use.
However, there's one I can't seem to deactivate: how do I disable the site hosting country flag next to the address bar? Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Whoops my bad, thank you!Developer response
posted 7 years agoIt is in the Help. :)

- Rated 4 out of 5by Kat, 7 years agoThis add-on is very useful. It'll get 5 starts from me when it will let me know visually which tabs I set to "stop reload" or to auro-reload :3
I suggest custom set tab-colors or maybe small icons like a small red or yellow dot. Or anything else that is technically possible.Developer response
posted 7 years agoAt the moment, that is not possible with WebExtensions but more Tab customising API is planned.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13427965, 7 years agoThis is a nice extension and I find it very useful. My only feedback is it would be a lot better if the context menu items were directly integrated with the other items instead of in a separate tab. I don't know if that's a limitation of WebExtensions.
Developer response
posted 7 years agoIn WebExtensions, each extension can only create one menu item and all menus come under that single one.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Marco Santos, 7 years agoI love your plugin. Thank you for your hard work and your effort to make it even better.
I just have a small request to ask. Would it be possible an option to turn off just the Host Location Country Flag function?
I ask you this because I already use Country Flags & IP Whois extension – which is more specific to my needs - and I really don’t need two flags appearing simultaneously!
Edit: thank you for your response. Should've read the help file.Developer response
posted 7 years agoThank you for your kind comments. Yes, it is possible to turn it off. Disable the 'Copy Tab IP' and the flag, Copy Tab and their associated processes will be turned off. It is also mentioned in the Help. - Rated 5 out of 5by Cyberknight, 7 years agoThe list of tab actions is amazing (I only use a couple of them regularly, but it's good to know they are there on the rise of the occasion to use the others, as I actually needed recently).
2024: seven years after my original review, it still lacks acknowledgement of containers, though...Developer response
posted 7 years agoThank you.
AFA containers, TBH, I haven't looked into them yet, not even for general use. I will get to them one of these days.
There isn't any WE API to allow context-menu to be updated before it is shown at the moment so I can't add a reload count to the context-menu. Adding a marker (e.g. in the tab title) could be possible, but that requires getting into page content which FoxyTab isn't aiming to do. However, I can add it to the toolbar button pop-up, once I write the feature (another feature was also requested that could be added there). - Rated 5 out of 5by Dypsis, 7 years agoThis would be great if there was an undo closed tab option showing a list of recently closed tabs.

posted 7 years agoI will work on it for future updates.
